I wouldn’t be surprised if Iowa is going to hire McCollum in the next year or two and we will be regretting letting him get away when we had the chance -

Anyone saying Goodman doesn’t have sources is lying to themselves because they don’t like what he is saying. Goodman is very well sourced. -

What smaller conferences are we worried about bid stealers in other than in the MVC if Drake doesn’t win tomorrow? Hopefully for our sake, no one puts together a run in a large conference tournament like NC State did last year. -
ESPN+ for today but the semifinals tomorrow are on CBS Sports and Sunday's championship game is on CBS

Is Scott Skiles still alive? I haven't heard about him in years and remember him living in Bloomington at one point -

I want to win right away, but I won't mind if we hire a good coach that builds the program up the right way and it takes 2 or 3 seasons to do that. -

Didn't she just get a contract extension and large raise 2 weeks ago? -

If they hire someone that is still coaching in the tournament, they won't announce it until he is done for the season -

Recruiting is such a grind, especially in season. Coaches will fly in from a road game and then drive to go watch recruits at multiple schools play games the next day, all while working to keep the current team on track. -

His teams at LSU were well coached and fun to watch. Not sure if we would hire him but C-Wat definitely has connections to him from his brother and within the IU program still since Hulls is there. Could just be CW saying who he wants IU to hire though. -

For what it's worth, I've been told even if Dolson has an agreement with a coach, nothing will be announced until the team is done playing for the year. Now I guess that can change if the team somehow makes a run in the tournament and is still playing when the transfer portal opens on the 24th. -

Well Brad is currently in the state of Indiana. They showed him on TV at the Notre Dame game where his kid is a walk on -
I kind of think he’s going to get DePaul competitive in the big east in a few years. At least middle of the pack. Will come down to if he can recruit the Chicago area well.

I think that somewhat had to do with the shrunken rotation and Goode fighting foul trouble a lot of the game. I will say Carlyle came in and played pretty well in the first half but MgBako was awful and unplayable in the first half. He did knock down some big shots in the 2nd half. I think the main difference last night (other than the refs) was Goode didn't have a game like he has been having the last month and Oregon was just able to barely get to more 50/50 balls than we could. It felt like the team was hustling but Oregon was just a little more athletic and quicker to the ball. Would be fun to get another crack at them next Thursday in the 8/9 game in the BTT if we can beat OSU on Saturday -

Yup I believe against either Oregon or Illinois. I guess there’s a chance it’s against UCLA? -

I'd take either. McDermott is a hell of a coach and what Collins has done at NW with such limited resources compared to other Big Ten teams is remarkable. Both play a fun style of ball and I never watch a Creighton or Northwestern game and wonder to myself why the coach is making the decisions he does. -

At the end of the game against Washington the other night during handshakes I thought to myself "What are the odds that Woodson even knows that the other coaches name is Danny Sprinkle" -

Yes it is a big part of the culture at Baylor but there's nothing wrong with it Baylor is a private Christian school. He would have to tone it down at a public school like IU. I believe a pastor speaks to the team before most games much like Sister Jean does at Loyola -

Religion shouldn't matter at all when it comes to coaching. 3 of the teams in this week's top 5 have Jewish head coaches.
