At first I was not a fan of even suggesting Cronin...but I'm coming around on it. I don't love it, but I don't hate it now either. Polar opposite from Woodson with regard to pretty much everything, so that would be a good start....

I agree as well, but it also depends on how he chooses to use his faith. Not to get into a faith based discussion at all but some Christians feel called to be around like-minded people to share in fellowship, some Christians feel called to be out sharing their faith with others in places that are not cut from the same cloth as them, others feel called to a mix of both. It would all depend on where his family feels that should be after taking onto consideration their prayer life and calling. I could see him saying "no way" but I could also see him seeing IU and Bloomington as a place where he maybe see as a community where he could impact with his faith. No idea...

Think his agent is putting his name out there to position him for a raise or do you think he would really have interest in the IU job?

Just offer Dusty May $10 million to stop coaching his team right now and come be the video coordinator at IU until Woodson retires (because we can't hurt his feelings). Then promote Dusty with his blockbuster contract. Of course the terms of the contract would be agreed upon and signed when he comes over as the highest paid video coordinator in history.

I would love to get a guy like Bill Self. However, I doubt he ever leaves Kansas for IU for nothing else but for how we handled KS and his recruiting scandal. IU would never protect Bill Self the way Kansas has, and he knows it.

I love this...so entertaining! No matter what happens, no matter who ends up being the coach, I still have to get up and go to work every morning. It literally makes no difference to me who the coach is. I just love the drama and fun that these coaching searches provide! Bring on the info! Thanks for sharing to those that do!

I get it, but that's the problem. Let people bring their stuff here and share it. If you don't buy it, that's ok..don't let it bother you. It's also OK for someone to keep listening and try to take the information to possibly put a puzzle together. I'm sure people have left different boards and forums due to someone's sources being wrong and not feeling they can trust the information being brought. I'm simply saying that while everything being said may not be true all the time, I believe that some of it is. So for someone to state that "nothing about what has been said is true" is just wrong to say in my opinion.

And on Monday at midnight if it doesn't happen, you will be able to point to that part and say it is false.

I don't agree. The person sharing what they have heard is simply that and should be taken at face value. If someone is going to refute what that person heard, I believe that they would need to prove it wrong to be able to say it was false.

I wasn't the one saying that everything around it is true. He stated that none of it is true. I feel that that puts the burden of proof on him....
