  11. Define lately or killer recruiters? I ask because last year's class is the highest ranked class in the history of IUFB since the inception of ranking classes. Folks like Peoples and Wright are fairly new to the staff. And Wright is knocking it out the park in my opinion.
  12. I already made comments via twitter regarding the UM-Wisconsin post game situation. My other comment is the following: I don't buy doing away with post game handshakes. I think that's putting a band-aid on the real issue the big ten has here. The big ten has allowed certain type of play on the court. In fact they/we pride them/ourselves on it. So much so that when you talk to anyone at your local pub in big ten country you typically complain about how 'soft' (For 21 years straight the big ten hasn't brought home a championship.) the rest of the county's NCAA basketball is. It was just a matter of time with the way the games are being officiated and how Wisconsin plays basketball that an altercation like this was going happen. We all know it. Maybe it's time to re-evaluate what kind of image the big ten wants regarding the black and blue, ground and pound, rough and tough, banging body conference it is? Final comment: I don't know about your work environment but assault will get me pink slipped at my place of employment.
  13. Honestly, I'm not sure if that's a good thing he's on twitter talking about it. This tweet might be more for his brothers that battled last night? If so, there's no need to say it on twitter when you can literally say it in the locker room and prove it by your actions. And if it isn't, then it's really not important for us to even know this in the grand scheme of things. Like I said in an earlier post, I'm looking forward to see how the team responds the next few games.
  14. I'm really proud of the team that played last night. They were put in a really tough position and played with grit and guts. Looking forward to see how this team responds in the next few games.
  15. Speaking from personal experience, good teams don't have coaches openly discussing having issues with other coaches. Bad teams do. And the really bad ones have coaches discussing their discontent with the players. The whole LEO mantra doesn't seem to be happening behind closed doors if indeed all of these rumors are happening. But I do agree with you and hear what you're saying about other programs. It's just the good teams handle it better.
  16. You might be on to something about Hart. I think the only RB he recruited that turned out was Scott. But I will say to be fair with all the other recruits, I don't think Barry Sanders himself would have been any good with they way the front 5 has been. An offense can't do poop without a front 5. It's the lifeblood. The heart and soul. The meat and potatoes. The... oh man, look at me rambling.

  20. I've played three years of football with coaches not liking other coaches. And open about it. It was a mess. Like I said, if this is true it's not good for IUFB.
  21. If any of this is true than IUFB is doomed.
  22. I would assume like the Big 12 or AAC is determined? I don't think it would be that difficult to figure out the two best teams in the conference. For example, the 2021 season conference championship would have been a rematch of OSU v UM. Which were indeed to the two best teams in the conference. No knock on Iowa but they were probably the 4th best team in the conference last year anyway. And with the fixed games I'm assuming a school like UM will have MSU and OSU on the schedule. Which will help determine the conf championships for sure. I think schools out of the West will now be forced to go through a gauntlet of a schedule like IUFB which will be awesome for the conference as a whole. I'm viewing this change as a good thing for the conference overall. And a really good thing for IUFB.
  23. All of these schools below are opponents that are established, less travel time and/or with some IUFB history involved. The 3 fixed will more than likely be, Purdue, MSU and Illinois. All three games are rivalry games. ACC opponents that makes sense the first year is Louisville and Virginia. PAC12 opponents today Washington and whoever they want to put on the schedule. But at the end of the day just have ACC/PAC12 opponents in a rotating schedule. Regardless of the schedule, this is a really good idea and will help combat the recent SEC moves with OU and Texas joining their conference.
