  1. I read somewhere that so far only one school won on the road in two different time zones. IUFB over UCLA in the Rose and all other games the home team won. O$U travels to Oregon.
  2. Yeah, they got bailed out by a controversy non targeting call. That completely changed the game. https://x.com/awfulannouncing/status/1842811939748982924?t=3XiChq9aT1adouMR-5DEdA&s=19 Same kind of poop happened to them last week against VA Tech. Also the TD play that put them ahead was illegal as well due to multiple ineligible players down the field. https://x.com/ChrisVannini/status/1842813597572890838?t=3KfVNkD6ouFmRdR2JglZbg&s=19 Bottom line, they're getting the lucky breaks they need during a season.
  3. 3rd prediction. 6 wins and 0 losses.
  4. Yeah, it was a one of the better articles I've read so far. It was also about Dolson. I take comfort knowing his criteria for hiring a IUFB HC.

  7. Oh man, landing this kid will do wonders for the IUFB program.
  8. Another safety enters the portal today. The team's depth is being tested.
  9. on3 247 WR - Donaven McCulley S - DJ Warnell S - Tyrik McDaniel LB - Nahji Logan WR - EJ Williams OT - Noah Bolticoff
  10. Updated after Bryon Baldwin's decommit.
  11. Best of luck to him. He was one of the bright spots during one of the worst offenses IUFB has ever had. It's unfortunate it didn't work for both parties and I truly hope he finds a place where he's able to continue to grow not only as a player but as a human being as well.
  12. He's forced to keep the foot on the gas due to the tiebreaker scenarios.
  13. https://x.com/PeteNakos_/status/1841101701366923360
  14. He asked this question: https://x.com/AriWasserman/status/1840806863262400625 My first thought was, "OK, same question to you but reversed." Just keep stacking wins. He'll change his mind, eventually.
  15. No. 23 is way too low for the Indiana Hoosiers I called this earlier in the offseason. Indiana is more than sneaky-good; the Hoosiers just might be good. Hiring Curt Cignetti away from James Madison has brought newfound life to the Indiana offense we have not seen since Kalen DeBoer, or even Nick Sheridan were in Bloomington. This team played hard under Cignetti's predecessor Tom Allen for years but became so moribund offensively. There will be at least three teams in the Big Ten making the playoff, possibly four, and maybe even five if the SEC cannibalizes itself. After Ohio State, Oregon and Penn State, who is going to emerge as No. 4? It might be Michigan, it might be USC, it could be Illinois, possibly Nebraska, but what about Indiana? This is a team many picked to win only a few games. Now they are one win away from a bowl. We have been late to arrive to the Indiana party, but I think this is going to be one worth staying at.
  16. Why not? "Change the way people think." -Coach Cig Just some perspective here. Rick Neuheisel on the CBS halftime show believes Cignetti could be the next Saban. https://www.instagram.com/cbssportscfb/reel/DAe3nG7srIT/ I know it's just one man's opinion and that man is Neuheisel but... he's making a strong case. I'll say it again, I believe the university from top to bottom is truly invested in IUFB. And I find that extremely comforting regardless what happens.
  17. None of those schools on this list would give him the type of control he currently has. Maybe Arkansas. But even that job still has its challenges. Most importantly, if he goes I have faith in the current administration hiring the right guy to replace him. It's clear they are investing in IUFB, finally! But I don't think he goes anywhere. He's here to win a national championship for the school that has the most losses in college football history just to prove a point and give the finger to all those schools that passed up on him in the past.
  18. Bill Connelly and Harry Lyles Jr has IUFB in the CFP. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/page/playoffpredictions092824/college-football-playoff-picks-predictions-week-5 Ranked. AP: 23 Coaches: 24
  19. That's going to happen. It should. They've earned it. Cig will just reload. Folks want to coach for him. We just gotta keep Cig.
  20. Looks like a lot of folks are changing the way they think about IUFB. I knew it all along. https://x.com/JeffLebowski812/status/1730320420870541496?t=9bGOgT9PuAPMr3js6_cSsA&s=19 I'm on cloud 9!
  21. Also, this game will be D'Angelo Ponds' biggest test of his college career. I really hope we're able to get some pressure on the QB to help him. I like our chances for that to happen. It's gonna be a fun matchup to watch.
  22. I have a feeling this game is going to be closer than what people think. Maryland's D will be the toughest IUFB has faced this year. Plus the weather might play a factor. We'll get a really good idea of just how good IUFB is this Saturday.
  23. If IUFB were in the SEC they'd be ranked no lower than #15. Regarding Big Ten schedules, O$U's 4-0 schedule is the second weakest next to ours. Regardless, folks are now starting to pay attention and should our beloved Hoosiers win this weekend the flood gates will be released where the national talking heads will start talking about IUFB like it's a surprise or something. It's kind of already started. But the big dogs will be talking about IUFB should they go 5-0. Had any of them done any research to what was going on during the offseason none of it would be all that surprising to them. And I love it that Coach Cig warned them during the Big Ten media day. They all just kind of laughed at him and there are plenty of receipts.
  24. Doesn't Odom already have a checkered past with Mizzou?
  25. Of course. I was making an assumption. This will all play out and there are probably receipts.
