    If I had to guess he'll be more of a blocking TE to fill the role of Horton's blocking. Bomba should be utilized to fill Horton as well. Horton is going to be hard to replace. He's a special football player that doesn't get enough recognition. That guy is used for just about every offensive play. If Nowakowski can contribute with just half as much as Horton does that'll be a plus for him and the offense.

    Winning the natty will move any needle. IUFB is one of 12 schools in the country to have that chance. I understand what you're saying but about the 4 and 5 star talent but Coach Cig and his staff want a certain type on the roster. I know this year has been something us IUFB faithful are not used to but Coach Cig is. He expects this type of season to be somewhat the norm. And I'm here for it baby!!

    Memorial sits on land donated by Francis Joseph Reitz. He was a big wig in Evansville back in the day. He pumped money into both the public and private schools along with what today is University of Evansville. I'm not sure about Combs' eligibility either. I'm assuming other 812 Memorial folk on here might be able to provide some input on his status. He and his brother wrecked havoc in the SIAC down here in my neck of the woods. Completely took over games.

    There's also Parker Petersen in the mix. Petersen and Wheeler are for sure a Carpenter type mold. Wheeler had 64 tackles this season and is a big pick up for us. I'm hoping for Hopper because of his eligibility years. I'm assuming the staff wants to eliminate relying on the portal every single year at one position.
