I did yes. It's where I learned a lot about his mental health.
-
They had lower rankings last year and went to the CFP.

I'll never forgive him for what he did. Ever.

In 2015, he got completely beaten and bludgeoned with a labrum injury, partial abdominal tear and a lacerated kidney. During the offseason in 2016, he separated his AC joint snowboarding in Colorado. The snowboarding injury didn't affect the labrum but did further destabilize that entire region of his body. He has since spoke to the public that he had what he calls a "deep, deep, deep, deep, DEEP" code within himself to never cede to pain, and especially to not discuss it. At some point, Luck has some blame here and his trip to Holland was basically the beginning of the end of his career. Luck never fully opened up about his mental health during all of it and the organization probably just took Luck for his word. Bottomline, had the organization paid better attention and been more in tune with Luck, we might still be seeing him on the gridiron.

I am clearly not making any excuses for Ballard. No disagreement from me what so ever. My comment was more of a 'What if..' scenario. It's amazing to think how much different the organization could have been had his generational QB not quit. Us Colts fans would probably be putting Ballard on a pedestal if Luck was still around.
-
Yeah, you and I watched two completely different things happen with the OL once Ballard took over. AC sprains, but what's the difference at this point. The dude quit on his team and completely jacked the franchise for a long time. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/andrew-luck-admits-to-long-rumored-snowboarding-injury

IUFB finished 11-2. I can hear the recruiting pitch now in a kid's living room. The future is bright folks.

For revenue reasons, IUFB wants PSU v OSU in the finals. For recruiting reasons, IUFB wants ND v OSU in the finals.

Coach Curt Cignetti to INDIANA... Forever and Ever, Amen!

The Dude abides. -
There's a whole discussion about IUFB in the interview and my blood is boiling. Because all three of them don't understand that a one loss P4 team will always get into a 12 team EXPANDED CFP! Deal with it. Ari Wasserman kind of explained it but then lost me when he said a 10-2 Bama should have gotten in over IUFB.

This is called gaslighting.

Mikail Kamara to STUD in 2025
Lebowski replied to FootballSchool's topic in Indiana Hoosiers Football
Might just be a position to fill out of need. Who knows. If he doesn't get drafted he'll get a chance to prove his stuff for sure. The NFL is a completely different level of talent but in my opinion, he's got the quickness to hang with the big boys. We'll see. The good thing is we get another year to watch him!!! -

Here's a scholarship chart breakdown. We currently have 7 total on the roster. Aside from Fisher, I recall Jones and Hardy getting a little more playing time than others. Hardy has the "better stats" (whatever that means), probably because he plays Mike. Jones plays Will. No clue on which position Fisher plays (he played Will, might move him to Mike) in 2025. Senior Aiden Fisher Juniors RS Kaiden Turner RS Isaiah Jones Sophomore RS Rolijah Hardy Freshman RS Quentin Clark Jamari Farmer Paul Nelson -
I'm not making excuses for Ballard. He's got to go in my opinion. But, had Luck not quit the organization, I'm not sure we'd be in the current pickle we're in. Luck really effed up things, in a bad way. Having said that, Ballard has had ample amount of time to address the Luck mess. But man, Andrew Luck really put us in a really really bad spot. I'll never forgive him for that, ever.

Transfer ranking. I fixed it. Thanks for the catch.

IUFB 2024/25 Portalstravaganza
Lebowski replied to Naturalhoosier's topic in Indiana Football Recruiting Forum
My apologies. These are committed players (16 total so far) just added. I am treating transfers like I treat high school recruits (roughly 20 to 25 a year). This is the recruiting forum. With the year IUFB had I'm under the assumption this will start to get way more traffic than the past. More than likely new traffic as well. Also, I really don't contribute to IUBB all that much, I'm pretty much here for the football (even when we sucked). If folks don't want me to add it, I won't. Just thought I was doing us IUFB folk a solid here. -
