  1. From Sporting News: 16. Golden State Warriors Grade: B Picks: Brandin Podziemski (#19), Trayce Jackson-Davis (#57) The Warriors traded Jordan Poole earlier in the day and selected his insurance in a crafty playmaker and knockdown shooter like Podziemski. One of my favorite under-the-radar moves of the draft was Golden State trading into the second round when Jackson-Davis was sliding, scooping the All-American with the No. 57 pick. I'm calling it now, Jackson-Davis will be a contributor for Golden State.
  2. I totally agree, but I'm kind of glad we aren't ranked. Just win and everything takes care of itself.
  3. Ha! I keep waiting to see how their management will screw this up.
  4. Yeah, I would guess the definition of tampering is quite different for the team losing a player than the teams after him. Who knows who reached out to who to gauge interest. I’m guessing if you’re the team losing a player, you think any talk is inappropriate, even if it was the player gauging the interest level.
  5. For a minute, I thought you were talking about the men's team :D
  6. Would love it if he was ready to contribute this season, even if it was 5 min/game.
  7. Just a guess on my part, but I feel like part of the reason Ware came to IU is that Woody told him he would allow him to play more out on the floor. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he takes 3-4 a game. They seem to have a pretty flexible front court in that they are big enough and skilled enough to move under the basket and out on the floor, with Reneau/Sparks probably staying under the basket a little more than Mgbako, Ware, and Banks.
  8. From a defensive perspective, Galloway is a good starting option. While his percentage did improve last year, his average PPG is pretty low for a starting SG. Hopefully, he can work on his ability to confidently get his shot off in more situations to bring his points up. Having X and other strong wing options should help. Sure would be nice to bring in another guard option for a year, even if it's just a more proven bench option.
  9. Whoa. I feel the need to set you straight here. Phil's first two albums were really good. He started going off the rails a bit with "No Jacket Required" and never got back to the first two. I never felt his solo's were as good as Genesis though. Billy Joel is and always has been over-rated. Ok, let's move on.
  10. Seen a lot of the "University of Indiana" from recruits, but I think this is a first.
  11. Maybe a team with 3 first round picks would go after him...
  12. All I can say is no one who has had the unfair advantage under the "old rules" like the playing field being leveled.
  13. I really don't see a reason to hang on to a scholarship in the current climate of the portal and players moving all the time. My preference would be to get a player who can help us for one year. I like Galloway a lot, and maybe having some forwards who can hit from the outside opens things up for him, but I really just think we need about 13-15 PPG from that position. But, then again, maybe not. Last year's team definitely could have used that, but maybe there's enough scoring at other positions on this team. Gallo is that guy that will wear on opposing players over the course of the game, and there's a lot to be said for that. Whether it's Gallo or someone else, I just want him to be able to take advantage of the offensive opportunities that present themselves over the course of the game.
  14. No worse feeling than this coming on at someone else's house. Ask Tommy...
  15. I just asked the Magic 8 ball. I can't say what it said, but I think you all will like it!!!
  16. We got this. He is announcing on May 12, or 5/12. 5+12=17. How many letters are in Indiana University? You're welcome...
  17. Has anyone reached out to M&M's about a NIL deal? Seems like a good fit.
  18. Seems like everyone is getting all caught up in what a lot of people who have no idea are thinking. They thought he was committing on May 2nd, yet he didn't. He still took the visit to IU. I don't know any more than anyone else, but until I read or hear the words from his mouth, IU is still being considered. We've all been on this roller coaster enough to know that things are not always as they are perceived.
  19. Why doesn't anyone like us anymore? We're good people! He seemed so into us and then just stopped calling. What did we do wrong? I knew we sent that follow-up text too soon! We should just give up and stop recruiting altogether.
  20. Nice. I didn't realize Lou Watson was still an assistant AD in 1984.
  21. I'm not arguing anything. I'm just stating facts. In TA's most successful season, he won 6 games. In reality, Allen's best move was to hire DeBoer and bring in Penix as QB. Allen's success came from those two guys and followed them when they left. As I said before, if Allen's behavior and trajectory make you happy, then I'm happy for you.
