Watching the last 10 minutes of the BIG TEN GAME in 60 minutes on BTN. Normally I would not bother watching the ending of a Rutgers at PU game but seeing all the happy/excited PU fans and players, and knowing how they are ultimately going to pee on themselves, is must-see TV.

Would it be wrong for the IU administration to ask Maryland if we could use one of their stadium offices to sign Keys during his Maryland visit???

Was listening to SVPelt and his betting sidekick Steve who contacted one of his Vegas guys to ask the OSU-IU line if the conference championship was held today. My guess was that OSU would be favored by 3.5 but Steve’s Vegas guy said the line would be OSU favored by 7. Higher than I thought but that’s why the games are played. First things first…..Beat Maryland!

The way Cig describes Maryland, and virtually all of our opponents, they should be ranked top 5…:) He isn’t going to let the team relax against anyone.

Yep. Iowa and Washington should be top 25. Mid tier BT teams just don't seem to attract the attention that SEC teams do. As an example Tennessee beat a crappy UK team and rose 3 spots to 14th…LOL. Their 6 wins are Syracuse, East TN State, UAB, a poor MS State in overtime, a poor Arkansas by 3 and UK. #19 Missouri has beaten Central Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, South Carolina, Umass and Auburn. SEC has some good teams but the “ranked gauntlet narrative” is overblown as they seem to get lower tiered teams ranked.

Will be interesting to see how Oregon finishes the season. Oregon still has Iowa, USC and Washington. None of the three are ranked but I think they all are (should be) top 25 teams.

We play AT Penn State. In their last game Penn State was leading , at the beginning of the 4th quarter, at Iowa and ended up losing by just a point. Not shabby. I think we will beat PSU but the amount of press making it sound like a pre-ordained cake walk seems a bit crazy to me.

We are getting our props but my issue is 10 of them in the top 25.

Bama barely beats a putrid South Carolina team and the announcers say “nothing comes easy in the SEC” (ie every game is the ultimate challenge). IU wins at Iowa and it’s almost as if the game never happened.

Iowa would be ranked 15-20th or so if they had SEC patches on their uniforms.

Add in Tennessee, LSU, Texas etc etc to that list of “who have they beaten”. The Illinois, at Iowa, at Oregon streak was one of the best in college football this year. Yesterday I actually heard Joey Galloway call the IU at Oregon win a “pretty good win”. Nauseating narrative but on the flip side, and to be fair, the polls do have us #2.

I only need two safeties, in the last 2 minutes, to nail my prediction of 10 points for UCLA. Fingers crossed!

Absolutely HILARIOUS ending to the PU-Rutgers game. PU had the ball with a minute to go, their QB’s pass gets tipped, the QB catches the tip but then fumbles. Rutgers recovers and kicks the winning field goal…….priceless!!

Hope they don’t just have Babydoza hand off. Would like to see him throw a few.

I realize tv commercials pay the bills but it drives me crazy when there is a stoppage in the IU game, I channel surf to 6 other games only to find that 5/6 of them are also in commercial.

Just 2 days ago Sales listed his final 12 (final 12..LOL) and IU was among the 12. Did you see something that indicates he is already down to 2 ?

I heard Cig said that but just hope his assessment proves to be correct. It seems a little early to be 100% sure a knee is ok.
