100% Have been hoping for a “holy sh!te” OL commitment as our need to upgrade the OL was apparent in 1/2 of UM, OSU and ND games. (it didn’t help that it turned out Rourke was playing with. bum acl) -
He won’t be as good as Jones. I don’t get the love for Allar, at all. He has Christian Hackenberg, who I always thought was wildly overrated at PSU, bust written all over him.

Yep, Illinois will be tough. 3/4 of IU’s upcoming games are on the road with the home game being against the Illini. -
It will be interesting to see what happens when MR comes back. Prior to tonight MR has averaged 24 minutes a game and Ballo 29. Woody has sometimes had both of them on the bench at the same time (which I don’t understand). Low hanging fruit would be to NEVER sit both of them at the same time. That alone, if they both continue to play 24 and 29 minutes, would result in 68% (27 minutes) of the game with just one big in at a time.

3-4-5 Woody liked the Ballo/Tucker/Goode combo tonight, especially after the start MM got. I would have been mad if Woody would have sat Tucker/Goode for an extended time to give MM more time just because he is MM. Carlyle was horrible on offense but guarding guys MM wouldn’t have guarded. MM will start next game and hopefully get back in the groove.

#1 Tennessee loses to Florida by 30!!! LOL

The Wolf/Goldin combo is fun to watch. Technically, due to their height, they are two big men playing together but with their skills/game they are more like two seven foot wings playing together.

They are. Good game to watch. -
RE: Carlye. We have needed a three level threat, get the ball in his hands at crunch time, 2 guard since………forever. Pre-season I thought that was one of our two biggest needs and hoped we would get a guy that was good enough to make it a no-brainer that Gallo should be our very capable 6th man. Looking like a swing and a miss.

I like Dusty but right after the blank check offer….……UM has a truckload of turnovers and has choked away an 18 point lead. Time to start a Fire Dusty thread before he is even our coach…LOL That being said, I do like him but feel the jury is still out. We shall see. -

It would be great if that blank check included Wolf and Goldin. Not diminishing Dusty but holy sh!te I don’t remember the last time I saw two seven footers with the ball skills, passing and multi-level threats possessed by those two. They are fun to watch. -

Pretty sure you know the answer to your own question. -

There’s obviously more space,” Walsh said when radio voice Don Fisher asked about Ballo’s improved production over the last two games. Hope that quote doesn’t get Walsh fired…… -

They might finish that high. They already beat PU by 11 and only lost by 4 at Rutgers. Not saying PSU is a juggernaut, by any stretch of the imagination, but they aren’t complete push overs either. That being said, I agree with Chris that it is sad PSU was favored by 7.5. Sounds like MR is out for a bit. Will be interesting to see how we continue to play without him and, if we continue to play better on the offensive side, how Woody will handle MR’s return. Hopefully, surely (but who knows) he sees what absolutely everyone watching the games sees when we only play one big. I think even the guy that sleeps next to Woody must see the difference.
