I really, really , really hope Dolson doesn’t surround McCollum, if he is the hire, with help. Forcing Fife and Matta upon Woody was basically an admission that we hired the wrong guy. Any coach hired in Fife’s previous position, as an example, should be 100% the decision of the new head coach.

Sort of crazy that we “hoped” we finally had a strong pair of guards, with Rice and Carlyle, but here we are winning with Leal and Gallo as the starters. Kind of a LOL.

Me too. Although his Achilles heal is passing out of the double team he seems invested, good attitude, nice offensive player etc etc etc. MR to Miami is just internet rumors, so who knows if it’s true, but he is a Miami native, has been here three years and it wouldn't be surprising if the new Miami coach is gifted with sizable NIL $$ We will find out soon enough.

Who knows but if Goode wins his bid for another year I’d think a new coach would want him. Good shooter, great attitude and teammate to have. MR - I’m guessing gone to Miami Tucker - out of here Cupps - hello Atlantic 10 or MAC school in Ohio Rice - maybe stay here Carlyle - doubtful MM - fresh start somewhere else Newton - feel bad for him and his injury bug but…gone

I think it’s because we were doing well with MR and also didn’t want to see Ballo go to the free throw line. I’d be willing to bet Ballo will start against Oregon and Tucker will continue to sit.

I agree. One of the criteria is a season ending injury but the 10 games he played were the last 10 games of the season. That really hurts his case. Doubt he will win but if he threatens to sue the NCAA they might buckle. who knows?

The ENTIRE bench (coaches, players, docs, managers) could be new faces next year.

Smart, plays hard, CARES, plays good D but it’s kind of tough to have a 2 guard that doesn’t look at the basket.

Two straight possessions when we thought it was a good idea to take it into the lane with 1 vs 3….ugh. But….here we are back to only being down 4 and with the ball.

That makes total sense but I still want to watch a IU tourney game.

And his misses aren’t even “shooter” misses. So many of them clank off the rim or barely touch the rim. Surprising after all these years but it is, at this point, what it is. That being said…..he brings a lot of other things to the table including a ton of assists since he became more of a primary ball handler.

I have a feeling.. This is Woodys last home game as a coach and in the second half he is going to……. GET THEM OVER THE HUMP!!!!!! IU by 6.

I was just thinking that I probably want IU in the tourney more than MM does.

Tucker, Carlye, Rice, MM…..this is the 7th or 8th year in a row in which our pre-season “depth” was a mirage.

Highly doubt he will be around next year regardless of what class he is in.
