I’m an “old school” motion offense “old dude” but there is no denying that at this point the ACC style of play is MUCH more entertaining than the Big Ten. A Duke/UNC match up blows away, as an example, a UM vs MSU game.

At Rutgers we shot 35%. allowed them to go on a shocking 22-0 run IU had a total of 7 assists Rob 1-5 was still in a fog Green and Davis did not play while Damezi played 22 minutes. I don’t see any of the above happening Sunday.

Worried about tonight because it was on the road. Just looked and Vegas had Illinois as 2 point favorites. Agree that Rutgers is far from a pushover as they have several guys playing well.

Lots to like tonight. Played with effort for the fourth or fifth game in a row. Gave Archie grief during the “sleep-walking” games so have to give him credit for the turn-around as I thought he was close to losing the team. Offense looked so much better. 17 assists to 6 to’s, Green and Smith stayed within themselves for the most part, Rob seems to have recovered and is confident with the ball, guys were getting the ball in positions in which they could score (rather then getting a weave hand-off 25 feet out), 5 players in double figures plus Davis with 9, DeRon is increasingly getting in game shape, etc etc. Take care of Rutgers and I will count the minutes until our first BT tourney game.

Could you bartend for the Shriners during the BT tourney?

It’s odd that they are not showing replays of fouls. You usually at least see a replay of the “and one” calls

We will see. It was commonly thought that UNC and Miami (football) would be severely punished. The cases against them appeared insurmountable but they both lawyered up and the spineless, worthless, incompetent NCAA did absolutely nothing to them (note to AD’s, including Glass....never, never, never admit anything). The recruits obviously do not think anything will happen. As of today Arizona’s 2019 class is ranked number 1 and Louisville’s is fifth. If that doesn’t teach the schools a lesson I don’t know what will...LOL.

Sagarin has our strength of schedule as the 5th toughest in the country. How in the world does NBC have it at 179 when we are in the BT and played Duke, Marquette and the Ville ???

PS. It’s sad how many posters, including me, have had family members impacted by this terrible disease. Dementia scares the s@&# out me like no other disease. Hopefully a cure is found.

I am also a big fan of Fisch but he chose to put the info “out there” and it is naive/unrealistic for him to think it would not be published. He’s blaming the Star but should blame the person in the mirror. If he wanted it to stay quiet he should have kept his mouth shut. I’m guessing this is a case of him regretting he talked. Sad news about Knight. Unfortunately, based on some of his later broadcasts, I am not suprised as he seemed to be slipping.

Needless to say....We MUST win at Illinois. Illinois, Rutgers and one BT tourney win might get us in. Two BT tourney wins gets us in. All is moot if we lose to the Illini.

If you told me that Morgan would have 7 points, Romeo 9, Al 3, Rob 5 and Davis 2 I would have guessed we lost by 25.

Great win. Was suprised, after the way we played the last few games, that we reverted to “sleep walking” for the first 2/3 of the first half. Good to see the effort in the second half.
