Totally agree. Some of the combinations on the floor this year have been baffling.

Step back three miss by Green. He always seems to want to “get his” when we open up a little lead. They then hit a three. Al turns it over. On the verge of stepping on their throat ( which we seem incapable of doing) but now down to 7 and they have the ball. Next few possessions are big.

We are playing good hard defense, hustle and so Dan D has a lot of good things to say tonight. Can’t blame him for dogging us during the games when we were sleep walking.

I do not think that should have been a charge because the defenders foot was clearly in the circle.

Not sure what flipped the switch (Smith not starting, Davis playing, Rob feeling better, someone igniting the locker room ?) but this is the fourth or so game in a row that we at least have showed up from the beginning. Hey, it’s something.

We’ve seen Davis start for Smith the last 2/3 games but it was even more telling that Smith did not play the second half. Davis will continue to get some of his time and so will Race. Be interesting to see Greens minutes tonight.

I looked at the most recent ESPN, CBS and NBADRAFT.NET mocks and they have Romeo going 6,6,13th. He’s a goner.

A lot of APR talk followed by “cleaning house” talk. Will we really have APR flexibility to do much after this season? I have no idea what Green and Smith (and Archie) are feeling about next year but also wonder, due to lack of playing time, about Damezi, Moore and Jake. Toss in Romeo going pro and I’m not sure to what extent changes can be made.

It must be low profile because I don’t recall seeing anyone, in any medium, say we would be doing better if only Jake was playing more.

I would love to know the percentage of times that having one person pound the ball for twenty or more seconds and then taking the shot works in college. I agree with you...too easy to defend and drives me crazy. You get to nearly the end of regulation tied by passing the ball around and then decide it is now a good idea to dribble, dribble, dribble.
