Yea I was in Alabama two weeks ago and had 4-5 conversations about Cig and the football team when folks found out I was from Indiana. Our coach is a household name.

Interesting Mullins dad was brought up here. My lunch buddies wife is a teacher in Greenfield and he just said last week the parents were a problem. Evidently the kid got a car along with the money and use of a private jet.

AR is Jamarcus Russell bad. Colts must have fell in love with athleticism? Zero touch throwing the ball, appears clueless at times on the field and quit on his team. I think he’s done.

My exact thoughts

Don’t even want to think about the amount of $$ that’s gonna be thrown at him

It’s October but you have to feel good about what we saw. Beat a good Tennessee team on the road.

A complete football team. Don’t know how far back you have to go to find that at IU.

After the summer hiatus I’m trying to catch up in this thread and my brain hurts…. Must pace myself.

Not sure why anyone gets worked up about the recruitments anymore when the kid is a year out. Good chance Woodson retires and someone will throw enough money to Hurley in the NBA eventually.

Mullins was a heavy IU lean. UConn came in kinda late with an amazing sales pitch. The Mullins camp mentioned the desire to be close to home and Hurley said no problem you’ll have access to a private jet and be home in 1 hour 15 mins or what ever it was. Sealed the deal. This came from a very very close contact on the AAU side. It’s amazing what you can learn at a girls volleyball sectional.

The kid couldn’t pass up UConn right now. They have the best sales pitch going. End of story.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet but I heard tonight from the AAU coach that UCONN offered a private jet to ease concerns about playing away from home.

We can legitimately compete with everyone left on the schedule except OSU. This is the real deal. CCC has definitely changed the culture.
