And you have to understand, that regardless of the results of a BTB poll, we are an incredibly small sample of the fanbase... and the reports of Beards um, transgressions are pretty widely known... I just don't see Dolson and the admin selling it... after all, Pam Whitten killed Pat Fitzgerald for the football job... and Beard doesn't pass the smell test, either, IMO.

Otzelberger? Yeah, locked in at Iowa State... But Beard will never get a call from Dolson... Sampson is not interested, and Pitino is old and creepy.

He tries to demand it from everyone else - the administration, the fans, etc... he's just an epic fool... and good riddance to bad rubbish... Mike Woodson, take your 45 year old legacy (if there's a shred somewhere that you haven't completely trashed) and just go.

The amazing part is that he can say those things with a straight face...

Because he's an @$$. He's pissed that he didn't get his way (year 5), and he's stomping his feet and throwing a tantrum. I guarantee that the only reason he does the post game pressers is that the B1G requires it. He hasn't done most of the duties of a coach for 4 years (recruiting, developing players, teaching, adapting, etc)... so why not ignore the rest of it? It actually shows us who he really is... but many of us have known it all along.

Cross him off... he claimed that Woodson was "a national champion"... if you want to coach here, you have to know the history. Woodson played at Indiana between the 1976 and 1981 championship teams. (Missed it by >| |< that much).

The whole Woodson thing is so far from an "administration blunder" as it could be. It was nothing less that corrupt nepotism. A blunder is a mistake, a miscalculation... this was not that. Buckner and Ferguson set this up with the help of guys like Zeke and Wittman... and it was a massive failure in spite of the "setup". Losing out on May last year was a byproduct of the corruption.
