Murray Sperber was a key player. He could not stand that anything in the athletics department was more well known and drew more attention than his English class. Sperber was involved in the events in 2000 surrounding the firing of Indiana University men's basketball coach, Bob Knight. Sperber criticized the university's handling of the situation and incurred the wrath of many of Knight's fans. As a result, he had to take a leave-of-absence from the university. My wife works for a financial planner in the Phoenix area. They recently signed a deal with Grand Canyon University to manage retirement accounts for their employees. Part of the deal was the company getting blocks of tickets to the 'Lopes basketball games throughout the season. The first game in the deal is tonight against Coastal Carolina, and the wife managed to score 4 court-side seats... I'm so looking forward to that experience! So I will be recording the IU-pUKe game. Please, don't anyone post about that game until I can get home and watch it. :D :D :D And GO Heismendoza!
