    I figured he was taking the angle that Sampson broke the rule (once at OK, then here) but is lusted for here by many, but Wade is garbage for breaking the rules. Both broke rules which no longer matter. IMO, eliminating Wade for that transgression alone would be foolish.

    The Banta Road I'm (very) familiar with is in Marion County. Center Grove is in Johnson County. I think there's a town further south called Banta - maybe a different Banta Road?

    You have to kind of pity the OSU basketball fans - they fired their coach last year, were deprived of an exciting coaching search and ended up with an unspiring coach. I guarantee that a month after the new coach is announced, things will feel mighty dull around here. It'll be conjecture on portal guys and incessant discussion on starting lineups. Enjoy the spectacle of it!

    I watched two games on TV when HP was there. My takeaway was they looked like they had NO coaching at all - just roll the ball out and let them use their natural ability. Apparently Huss can coach, but I didn't see it in those games.

    Serious question regarding McDermott: How would you rate him compared to Matt Painter? On the surface they appear to be similar in accomplishments. I ask not advocating for or against, just as a guage. My pedestrian view is that GM wouldn't be in the top tier of names we've tossed around, but also not in the bottom tiers either.
