True. There's no one I can't see looking to leave for one reson or another. The combination of building a mercenary roster and having a lousy coach doesn't promte roster stability.

If Dolson has everything tight as a drum, any leaking would be more likely to come from the candidates side. This makes sense.

I can see the next week or two going as follows: - When we are excluded or eliminated from the NCAA tournament we clamor for the announcement of the new coach. If it goes on for a couple of days, pessimism about Stevens/Wright/Donovan/Wade not being the choice becomes deafening. - Then, as other candidate's teams drop out, we eagerly expect word of their announcement. Each time we don't get announcement the monkeys get louder. - If it goes on until the FF, we begin panicking unless one of those teams is coached by a perceived candidate. Otherwise, rioting begins. - If nothing announced the day after the NC.....pure bedlam and absolute destruction. God, I hope we know within a week!

Sure. I fell into the Woodson justification after initial disappointment. But my enthusiasm for the program has dropped so far that I need to feel confident in the choice - not just hopeful or willing to wait and see. It's sad, but until officially kicked in the nutz, I remain optimistic that this will be the redemption.

I'd hope not. But, even if it is a similarly uninspiring name, it will be spun as one. Most of us won't buy it this time.

I think 3 & 4 are the main ones. Pretty much every potential candidate is employed somewhere - whether casual or serious negotiations leaking could jeopardize that.
