I'm rarely one to gripe about uniform colors and wardrobes, but there should be a rule preventing players from wearing shoes that completely clash with their school's primary colors. Some of these shoes are God awful, I'm not sure how someone at Nike signs off on the design. Pink, purple/lime green on shoes rarely looks good. So tacky. Rant over.

I think he was asked to resign. ND gave him that option since he's been there for like 25 years. He definitely plans on coaching next season somewhere, most likely on the East coast or sunny Florida.

Fell in love with watching Mountain West basketball at night the last few years, but unfortunately they just seem to underperform in the tournament.

That's it. After picking AZ to win it all last year, and make the Elite 8 this year, I'll never pick them again. Lloyd is about to have the same complaints about his failures in March as Sean Miller did.

Seems that Purdue is getting the least amount of respect I've ever seen a 1 seed get. Watch them use it as bulletin board material and make the Final 4 now.

Our primary need after last season was shooting, primarily from the outside. He wouldn't have fixed that. He had roughly 22% 3P% at Kentucky. I'm not sure whose minutes he would have taken here.

Seems that Gard may not be popular among players. I remember the story that came out a year or 2 ago where this was an issue. Maybe it went away because winning cures everything, well now they stopped winning.

Last time we went to a Final 4 we took down Kent State in the tournament. Hopefully that's a sign!

I'll take the draw, glad we don't have to face Pitino's Iona as the 4th seed UCONN does. Miami scares me.

I hope we don't draw Kent State in our 1st round matchup. We're clearly better, although they have a solid team that's only lost once since February 3. Sincere Caray is a dude who can play and won't be afraid of anyone.
