 If any of the members live close by and can see Grant play it would be great to hear about his progress this season. Don't get much high school sports news from that part of the state down here in the boonies.

 We were one of if not the first to offer Alkins but we don't seem to be mentioned that prominently with him. At this point I think we should make Brown our #1 priority and show him all the love we can. In the long run he may be a better fit as he's not seen as a 1 & done type but could bring the defensive physicality at the guard position this team sorely needs.  I'm not saying give up on Alkins at all but I really think Brown is the more viable option and the resources should be directed more towards him.   Think Jim Thomas!

Wow , Tyra is one hell of a basketball player. I need to take my 2 granddaughters to a game or two this season. My oldest is a junior and the starting point for her team.Shes about the same size as Tyra and really athletic. Wish she had that shooting stroke but few do. .

  An entry pass to the post now and again will open up shooters. Last year that wasn't really an option ,but with TB that should change.  It really frustrating to see a post, mid possession, his defender sealed one on one begging for the ball and then a bad shot jacked up as time expires.  Hope that changes.

  I always heard that McCloud when asked to compare Duke and IU stumbled with his response. .All that's hearsay but something really bad happened In Home.I really felt we were in the drivers seat ahead of that.

  At this point we would be better off signing just 2 or 3 more players for 16. I'm worried that we go into 17 with no open scholarships with this states best class in years. We all know that wont happen so the hand wringing will most likely start immediately after this season.  It's impossible to understand the thought process ,or lack there of that goes into Crean's recruiting approach but this is what we have so I will support both these kids. Hopefully we get Davis and another quality guard in this class.   Go Hoosiers

 From the highlights I've watched he looks super quick ,strong and aggressive. Could it be that he would better fit the frenetic pace at IU.Pitt doesn't run much. If he heals he could be a nice player,hopefully as a backup. Oh,and he can dunk.

 I agree with Hov about Hayes in the end but that remains to be seen. Lets see how he does being the focus now that the Tank and Dekker are gone. He along with Dekker really struggled in the final when they were  needed most. Yogi plays his best in big games.  Also,Is LaVert 100%?

This team will need a shooter after this season.Looks like what this kid does best . He's an Indiana kid who wants to play for IU.Thats a good place to start. Welcome aboard  Grant Gelon.

Why does Gtown have reduced scholarships? I wasn't aware they were on any kind of probation. Were you thinking of Syracuse?
