I agree,just hope he works his tail off to become an all around player. Not only for the team but for his future as well. I hesitate to call him a one trick pony because of his rebounding, but other than that and shooting he has lots to work on.  I'm betting he comes back vastly improved.

 I like RoJo as 6th man also. Depending on matchups would like to see Holt and Hartman share the 4 spot with Hanner relieving Bryant.

  I watched the game against Oak Hill last night and have a few observations. Thomas looked a little fatigued after the All Star game and the tournament game the night before in which he had 27 and 19.  Looks to anchor the post both defensively and on offense, holds position well and is a capable scorer at the rim. What I really liked was the fact he wasn't faked into leaving his feet and had really good timing on his blocks. Having Thomas could free up Hanner to play what I think would be his best position as a weak side defender and cleanup man at the rim.  He would make us  better defensively right off the bat.

Hope we get good news on both fronts.This state of flux is hard on the nerves.

  Ha Ha,   Ive been dreaming about you a lot lately,I mean a whole lot.   Sounds vaguely familiar.

  I've always thought that Perea would be better served as a weak side defender and cleanup man on offense. With Bryant here we could use the two together with troy on the wing.The key word being could.   I really feel small ball is a bad idea in this physical league.

They won a championship with an ineligible player.They've always cheated. Adolph Rupp played there. Larry Brown,Roy Williams .Self's just following the family tradition.Its ingrained same as it is for the Cats

  Notre Dame should be commended for beating Americas Team despite the referees best efforts to see otherwise. Those officials should be banned from ever calling a college basketball game again.   They must have read Teddy Valentines instructional manual.

 He almost looks like a 4 inch taller version of Emmitt Holt. If he plays with that passion,and it looks like he does from what I've seen he will be a great player.  I hope it's as a Hoosier.

The few times the cameras panned IU's bench Thomas looked engaged in the action. Could be a good sign.The other thing is he very likely could a 2 year player. Would love to have him.

 Probably very quickly.It's Kansas, the same team that won a title with  Darrell Arthur who had high school grades changed to stay eligible.That title should have been vacated. They're right up there with Ky as one of the most corrupt programs ever.And just like the Cats they're the NCAA and media darlings right now. Makes me sick.

  Cant stand Calamari but he gets his All Star teams to play defense.That would be a nice change.

Justice Winslow can play a little too.Would love to have that kid in the Candy Stripes.

  Nice game from Xavier beating crosstown rival Cincinnati by 3 at their place. Almost looks like IU north with all the Hoosiers on that team.

I grew up on a farm.We had cattle.

 Minni picks up road win at Iowa.They're playing much better. Toiletmakers win at Rutgers to put them in a tie for second with Ohio st and Maryland . Sparty half a game back. Illinois defeats Mich at home and is currently tied with our beloved Hoosiers. We're getting down to nut cutting time.Time to man up and win out. Go Hoosiers!

I agree. Strange when you could walk right in to a starting spot. They have to be highly mobile and willing to run and at this point I don't know how many like that are out there other than Maker and to a lesser extent Bryant.  My brother and I were talking and he mentioned Markus Lee at KY as being the perfect type big for this system and I think he was dead on.I know we really recruited him hard.
