Really believe Niego's stretch was what turned the game.Weve got a good one in that kid. -
I Think There's Something That Needs to Be Said

OG is just scratching the surface of his unlimited potential.I cant wait to see the veteran version. .Can you say monster? -
Pretty sure the kid at LSU is Bruce Hornsby of Range fame's nephew and no relation to our beloved Kyle.

That game bothers me still to this day.Mass substitutions at a critical stage of the game when you have the home team on their heels. Also deciding to Zone a team who's only hope to get back in the game is shooting. That's when I really started having reservations about our guy.

Indiana v. Minnesota - Post Game Thread

With 2 minutes remaining in the first half my brother said this thing is about to get ugly. He was right but I don't think he meant in the way it transpired. We thought maybe we could sneak out a couple minutes early and beat the crowd. Absolutely the worst defense Ive seen since the Duke game. And Turnover Troy initiating the offense is really offensive at this point. Thank god for TB and OG! -
I know Under Armour is throwing a shit ton of money at that program. In my opinion the very essence of what is wrong with collegiate sports.

IU vs Wisconsin Post Game Thread
GloryDays replied to JaybobHoosier's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Does anybody else think that maybe once in the hundred times Hayes had Collin,OG or whoever else pinned down on the baseline that we could have sent a guard down to help? He turned the same way almost every time leaving the defender hanging on.I know he could pass out of that but at least they would've had to hit a jump shot. I wanted to puke every time he got the ball, knowing it was 2,a trip to the foul line or both. -

No passing or movement, careless ball handling and over dribbling. The curse continues. -
I was thinking the same thing. It seems the last few games we've focused on getting the ball to Bryant more. With he and Davis both next year that could prove to be lethal to opposing defenses.

Q&A: 17 games in, Let's talk IU hoops
GloryDays replied to IndyHutch's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Nick seems to be rushing his shot before being squared to the basket..Ohio St's length may have been a factor yesterday but Ive noticed it before that.James being out could be causing a sense of pressure to perform. -
I was at the Morehead St game and there was definitely booing all around me when CTC was introduced which by the way, personal feelings aside I think is a classless act.

Who are these masked men??? -
It seems like Collin gets caught being the last line of defense, kind of like a hockey goalie at the net. That's more times than not a result of the guards not stopping penetration or the other two bigs jumping the passing lanes and losing position.I think its more a lack of fundamental defensive principles than the last guy standing being a poor defender.

I really like the offense with OG on the floor. He seems to know where to be as far as spacing and a 4 who can stretch the floor may be exactly what this squad needs (see Christian Watford) .I myself would love to see a more conventional lineup moving Troy into the 3 spot. Not bashing JBJ but his injury could actually help in the long run as It forces CTC to look at a different approach.

I haven't missed but a couple IU games in my over 40 years of fandom even if I could only listen on radio. I've missed 3 of the Generic State games this year. I love the Hoosiers as much as I ever have but this isn't what I grew up loving. And before someone says go watch Purdue I did last night and it pains me to say It was a great game. Go Hoosiers! Puck Furdue!

Hope he heals quickly.Hate to see anyone hurt and they will not be close to the same team without him.
