foul trouble as well -
No words I hate seeing stories like this http://collegebasketball.nbcsports.com/2016/02/02/mercer-guard-jibri-bryan-shot-and-killed-in-parking-lot/

Providence lost. Keep in mind Bentil got hurt in 1st half and didn't play most of the game but they still shouldn't lose to depaul
-
DePaul up 7 with 1:30 to go. Make that 4 Kriss Dunn is sick

Indiana @ Michigan Post-Game Thread
Uspshoosier replied to MartintheMopMan's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
if you think a fluke can beat Texas number 16 in the rpi on a neutral court and the number 7 rpi team Maryland on a court where we were up 27 then sure I guess you can think it's because they had they 2nd easiest schedule in the big but I will choose to believe that iu actually played a good team and showed why everyone in the preseason had them 13th -
Providence down 5 at DePaul with 10 to play
-
iu looked pretty good during a 28-0 run on Michigan
-
im not sure how much they really look into margin of a loss. Every team can have a bad showing. Xavier got pounded by 31 at Villanova. I would hope they wouldn't punish them for that loss because I believe Xavier is a top 5 team. Just remember the committee didn't punish wisky last year when they had a loss to a plus 200 rpi team Rutgers. They still give them a 1 seed
-
i could see the big 12 getting 2 teams on the 1 line. Whoever wins that conference deserves the 1 overall seed. As of today 6 teams in the rpi top 25
-
kansas would have a loss to Oklahoma st rpi 131 which in the committee's eyes would be a bigger loss then ours at Duke
-
if we won out that would mean we would have 5 top 25 wins (2 of those on the road) and 2 others wins against top 35. Winning out includes the BTT so after bye we would probably play 2 teams in top 30 on neutral court. So that would be a total of 9 wins against top 35 with a a 30-4 record going into the tournament. If by some miracle we did win out, lI don't think there is any way we wouldn't be a 1 seed. For reference Villanova is a projected 1 seed and they are 1-3 against rpi top 25 teams with only 2 other chances against rpi 25 teams in regular season. I'm with you probably realistically 4 seed or higher but if we won out i think we would be a lock for a 1seed just maybe not 1seed overall

i wouldn't call it back into the title if they sweep Michigan st, Purdue, and us I would call that earning it -
IU VS Michigan - Pre-Game Thread- 2/2 9PM EST ESPN
Uspshoosier replied to BlueDevil's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
why not, Nebraska went into Breslin and won and I actually think we match up well with Iowa. Seems like Fran and Iowa like to run and play fast the last couple years against iu. Just depends who's hot. Last year we were 3-6 on the road in the big and 6-3 at home. It's not like we beat anyone great in conference last year on the road. Just got to make sure we go 9-0 or 8-1 at home -
B10 Basketball Recruiting Thread

@jonrothstein 2016 F Issa Thiam (Canarias Basketball Academy) has committed to Rutgers, sources told @CBSSports. -
keep in mind in his senerio 12 of those 23 wins would be against rpi +150, 5 would be against rpi +101-149 teams, 3 wins against rpi 51-100 teams, and 3 wins agaisnt rpi top 50 teams. So in the worst case senerio it might be closer then a 23-8 team should be to the bubble. As of today we r 4-3 agaisnt rpi 51-100 teams but creighton and northwestern are 101 and 102. I personally don't think we will be anywhere near the bubble and to be honest this team shouldn't be near it
-
if we would of taken care of buisness in our tournament it wouldn't of mattered what happened in the acc tournament tout I liked to look at that year and say Syracuse for us twice that year. Of course the terrible loss in the sweet 16 but they were up like 20 points on Louisville in the acc championship game in the second half and just totally feel apart and Louisville won. If they would of lost that game to Syracuse even with our showing in the BTT tournament we are probably playing in Indy. But like my dad always said if the dog wouldn't of stop to take a crap if he would of had a rabbit
-
that would translate to being on the bubble and in your senerio being on the bubble with at least 2 wins vs those top teams would gives us 2 wins vs top 20 rpi teams and no bad losses besides Unlv which when teams are on the bubble they probably have bad losses and no top 25 wins. In my opinion that is a worst case senerio I don't think we will be anywhere near the bubble nor should we be. Just keep in mind all the other teams close to the bubble are not going to win all their games as well
-
Crean thought he got a raw deal at Unlv and in a press conference said he wanted to keep him close to the game of basketball. Coaches stick up for there own. The week before he came and observed iu, he was invited to watch New Mexico practice by their coach
-
he would be in the d-league or nba with Izzo as coach? Brenden Dawson who I think was a better defender and super athletic played 4 years for Izzo and unless he recently got called up is in the d-league. I think it's easy to say from our perspective that Troy would be a nba player with another coach but in reality even the some great players in college never sniff the nba or they get called up briefly and then they r back to the d-league
-
Not sure if we talked about this when it happened but I just watched replay of the last minute of wake forest vs Virginia game. Man that was hard to watch wake choke that game away. If u would like to see a team blow a 7 point lead with the ball with 28 secs left watch the ending on YouTube. I just saw it on espnu show crunch time. Brutal
