Good job Freddie and Juwan tonight. Whipped MSU on the boards. Fell short again—and I could be negative but I have come to accept the fact that we are just poor offensively. Despite that I absolutely love our defense. We have to be patient because Archie is building a new identity that starts with defense. Once we get a few shot-makers we will be back in business. Romeo would make a world of difference. Please let that happen. The biggest thing to me is I can see the rebulid Archie is making—he has my support. Hoosiers forever! I know we are all disappointed. I Absolutely HATE losing to Purdue but a couple points: 1) This is a good Purdue team —maybe the best they have ever had—and we played them toe to toe. This is not one of the better Indiana teams and we played about as good as we can today. 2) I found myself watching our defense which was superb at times and I was imagining it once we get Archie’s players here. Length will make a lot of difference—especially on defense —rebounding—and rim protection. As disappointed as I am by the loss to our rival—I remain excited and optimistic about the future of IU basketball...Go Hoosiers! Still rather be a Hoosier than a Boiler any day of the week!
