  1. Honestly, I don't have one. The primary names being thrown around (with a few exceptions) I think are solid candidates but each have something that concerns me. I'll wait for Dolson's official announcement and I've already staked my rights to start the next Fire Coach _____________ thread.
  2. 3. I'm still not sold on Beard but the needle is moving.
  4. Of course Vitale would push for Alford. Vitale's lips are still stuck on RMK's tush.
  5. After what we've gone through the last 48 hours, I think I'd just like Dolson to send out a quick our new coach is ____________ press release at 3:00 a.m..
  6. Collectively, our problem is we get caught up in the hype trains and get too emotionally invested because we wanted to believe Billy D. was coming then and we wanted to believe Brad S. was coming now. Until he lets us down, we have to keep our faith in Dolson that he will get us the kind of coach we need and the coach that will restore us to a level of national prominence.
  7. Vitale/Doyel neither one are worth paying a bit of attention to. Like gnats at a picnic.
  8. I hear what you're saying and at nearly 73 years of age, the prospects of seeing #6 raised are getting dimmer. But, I still think Dolson is going to land a good one and although it may not send immediate shockwaves through the college basketball world, I believe it will be a very good hire for IU in the long haul and we will return to a name that's consistently in the mix come March Madness time.
  9. TARRIN GILLILAND!!! NATIONAL CHAMPION! FRESHMAN! She wins Platform with a score of 338.40!
  10. Norlander - Source to @CBSSports: VCU had its first positive surface on Wednesday, then two more positives surfaced Friday night, which prompted Marion County health officials and the NCAA to decide allowing VCU to move forward and play its game vs. Oregon was too risky.
  11. There was a deadline earlier this week but once that deadline passed no alternates would be included.
  12. It happened - BREAKING: Oregon vs. VCU has been declared a no-contest due to COVID protocols with VCU, per the NCAA. Oregon advances to the second round.
  13. Committed to UConn today.
  14. REMINDER: Today's semistate game will be aired at 9:00 on WHMB-TV for those who can get it. Gunn had 9 pts. in this afternoon's semistate win over Bloomington South. No video but Gunn had a huge block on a Bomba 3pt attempt with South down 3 and 8.2 sec. left. Gunn hit this 3 to end the 1st Q
