  1. Legacy Early College participating in the Chic-Fil-A Classic and today lost to St. Frances 55-54. Carr with 22 pts; 7 reb; 2 blk. Yesterday they lost to Dream City Christian 60-40 but no player stats were provided. I did see that Carr won the slam dunk contest at the event.
  2. Mount St. Joseph participating in the Benedictine College Prep Classic. Haven't seen any reports for last night's game against Meadowbrook. Today MSJ pulled out a 62-60 win over Archbishop Ryan with Tucker providing the assist on the 3-pointer that won the game for MSJ. Tucker finished with 20 pts; 6 reb; 5 asst. At the half he had 12 pts on 6-10 FG.
  3. Not NBA related but here's a capsule summary of where former IU players are playing overseas. https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/a-look-at-where-former-iu-basketball-players-are-competing-overseas/?fbclid=IwAR2rXj8GN8OuuoBz3qtltkxUu4qyojAtAo34We2ku_9HOfEzUy5WU_5auCY
  4. 3rd game in 3 days and Fayette County defeats Solid Rock 61-46. Banks with 20 pts. and 10+ reb.
  5. Not a bad day at the office for McNeil at the Cherokee Holiday Classic in an 86-57 win over Lincoln Charter. He finished with 33 pts on 14-18 FG; 4-6 on 3s; 1-1 FT; 11 reb; 6 asst; 3 stl; 4 blk; 2 TO. Plays again tonight at 8 pm.
  6. Haralson plays 2 games today. In a game just competed, Fishers defeated New Haven 82-49. Fishers will play Merrillville tonight at 8:00 and the Fishers starters got plenty of rest in the New Haven game. In limited minutes I had Haralson with 14 pts. on 5-9 FG; 0-1 on 3s; 4-4 FT; 3 reb; 1 asst; 0 stl; 1 blk; 2 TO. '23 Darrion Brooks (Keion's younger brother) is a member of the New Haven team.
  7. Coach Moren surely got a few more gray hairs. '22 commit Lexi Bargesser loses her senior season to a knee injury several weeks ago and Meister goes down clutching her knee earlier today. Fortunately only a bruise. https://www.postbulletin.com/sports/prep/jm-girls-lose-but-it-could-have-been-a-lot-worse
  8. Road Wins - R - Us 73 Ninny Kittys 61
  9. St. Mary's (5-3) beaten 57-54 by Spencerville. Parks with 22 pts in the loss.
  10. Alec Lasley reporting Kenya Hunter watched C.J.'s game last night.
  11. John Marshall lost 50-45 to Bloomington Kennedy. Meister 33 pts; 14 reb; 0 asst; 1 stl; 3 blk; 0 TO. Thru 6 games she's averaging 26.3 ppg shooting 63% FG and 76% FT; 12.8 rpg; 1.8 apg; 2.3 stl; 2.3 blk; 3.2 TO.
  12. Good post-game story although Andershock credits C.J. with 32, not 34 pts: http://inbasketballsource.com/2014-2015-high-school/2021-2022-high-school-season/7171-tindley-beat-lawrence-north-in-wild-one
  13. Travis Branham -- 2023 international PG Miro Little has scheduled three official visits to Baylor, Villanova and Indiana, source tells @247Sports. January 15-16: Baylor vs OK State January 18- 19: Villanova vs Marquette January 20-21: Indiana vs PUke
  14. Alec Lasley reported Gunn had 5-3s in his 34 point outburst.
  15. Surprised there were only 4 techs called given the reports above. That's an obscene disparity and almost hard to comprehend that it could be that one-sided.
  16. Nope! Might be some details will come out later.
  17. This would have been a game to watch but sadly it wasn't streamed. Omar Cooper of Lawrence North picked up 2 techs. Head coach Jack Keefer assessed 2 techs. Tindley wins 88-79 but what a first game for C. J. 34 pts (15 in the 4th Q); 6 reb; 3 stl. With the firepower LN lost from last year's team, we all hoped this is what we'd see from C.J. and he didn't disappoint. And a name to keep in mind in the future is Lawrence North '25 PG Azavier Robinson who had 10 pts and 6 reb.
  18. Not the kind of game you like to have in front of a head coach. Bloom. No. beaten by Bedford North Lawrence 48-40. Roberts with 10 pts. on 3-12 FG. He missed all 5 of his 2-point attempts and was 3-7 on 3s; 1-6 FT; 6 reb; 0 asst; 2 stl; 1 blk; 1 TO. Bedford dictated the pace of the game and Roberts and North never got into an offensive flow. With about 3:30 left in the game, Roberts made a leap out of bounds to try to save the ball and either badly cramped or possibly pulled a hamstring. He left the game and did not return. North was trailing by 9 at that point. North only went 6 deep and Roberts played all 32 minutes of the earlier game and had not subbed out in the Bedford game. No mention of why, but Nick Klaiber did not play in either game today for North. To date, he's averaging 18 ppg; 5 rpg and 4 apg and North really needed him in this game.
  19. In his first game of the season, he came off the bench but quickly made his mark on the game. 7 pts. and 3 reb. in the 1st Q and up to 14 with just under 5 min. left in the 2nd Q
  20. The women were supposed to have a road game against Rutgers on Thursday but you know the drill. And if I remember correctly, Rutgers was a repeat offender last season. A week without any IU basketball. What a lousy way to end the year although it pretty well sums up 2021 as a whole. From Indiana Women's Basketball: Thursday's game between #iuwbb and Rutgers has been postponed due to positive COVID-19 results within the Scarlet Knights program.
  21. Raby reporting Kaleb with 34 and 17 in the Cumberland Christian game.
  22. Banks and team participating in the Wheeler Tournament of Champions. Last night, they were beaten by Wheeler 77-48 and I've seen it reported that Banks had 21 pts. and 10+ reb. Today they defeated Cumberland Christian 67-58 with Banks scoring 31 pts. and grabbing 15 reb.
  23. At the Bedford North Lawrence Danny Bush Classic, Bloomington North beat Whiteland 60-45 and will play Bedford NL tonight at 7:30. Roberts with 27 pts. on 12-17 FG; 0-1 on 3s; 3-4 FT; 8 reb; 2 asst; 4 stls; 1 blk; 2 TO. He had 13 of his 27 in the 2nd Q. Most of his point were all scored in the paint. The game was on YouTube and tonight's game is also slated to be streamed on the Bedford NL YouTube site. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=bedford+north+lawrence+basketball
  24. Penn State's last game was Dec. 11, so a 3-week layoff for them.
