  4. Gulbe earned a spot on the @B1Gwbball Player of the Week honor roll 17 points 10 rebounds 2nd double-double in 21-22 42.8 FG %
  5. No change in tipoff time but will be televised on BTN and not FS1 as originally scheduled.
  6. Shouldn't make my pick the next day after a loss 69 Visitors 75
  7. And was it a quirk in scheduling or was it by design? Our last regularly scheduled conference game is at Maryland on Feb. 25.
  8. Hoosiers win 70-63. Great effort and a great win. Didn't think we'd prevail in OT and to hold the Terps without a FG no less. Patberg 18p Gulbe 17p 10r Holmes 15p 14r On Wednesday night the women will be on the road in Madison, WI.
  9. Tied at 61 with 19.4 sec. remaining. Don't know if we have the legs to play OT.
  10. 8-0 MD run and it's 60-59 lead with 40 sec. leftr and Nicole going to the line. Makes 1 and its 61-59.
  11. 60-55 with 2:00 left. Nicole 4 fouls. We've only had 9 bench minutes. Patberg and Berger have played the entire game.
  12. 5 min. left and we're holding tough with a 56-47 lead. After its blistering first quarter shooting, MD for the game is down to 38% and just 17% in the 2nd half.
  13. And suddenly it's 52-45 Hoosiers but still 8:34 left. I believe I heard Austin Render say Maryland is 102-0 in games where it hold its opponent to under 70 points. Did I hear him correctly?
  14. After 3, we're tied at 45 Gulbe 11p 5r Patberg 14p Holmes 7p 11r Reese and Miller have 35 of MD's 45 pts. Reese has 3 fouls.
  15. Gulbe picked up 3rd foul with 3:30 left in the 3rd Q. MD with a 40-39 lead as we've gotten a little sloppy and officiating has become a little one-sided -- 5 to 1 in this quarter.
  16. Midway thru the 3rd and it's 39-36 Hoosiers. Terp just went down with what looks like a serious knee injury.
  17. Much better 2nd Q and we have a 33-29 halftime lead. Reese picked up her second foul and 2 additional Terp starters also with 2 fouls. Cardano-Hillary with 2 for us. Gulbe 8p 5r Holmes 7p 4r Patberg 8p
  18. Dopirak -- Still trying to figure out who's in and who's out for Penn State because I don't know these guys by sight without numbers on, but if I'm reading it right I think they'll have 10 guys out of 13 on the roster. Will double check this.
  19. Stewart back in the starting lineup along with Race, Trayce, X and Miller.
  20. Midway thru the 2nd and we've taken a 27-25 lead and we've only allowed Reese to score 2 additional points. Gulbe & Patberg each with 6 pts.
  21. Not the best start as our Hoosiers trail the Terps 17-14 as Angel Reese has already scored 11 pts. and as a team MD is shooting 54%.
  22. Update from Stockrisers - “Indiana’s pitch was come in and contribute off rip and do what I need to do to go to the NBA, and focusing on school as well. My thoughts on them are just that they have a good coaching staff and Mike Woodson coached in the NBA, so the system he uses can help a lot. They are good people to my family and me.” https://stockrisers.com/s/409/five-star-junior-kj-evans-discusses-his-options-breaks-down-game
  23. Matt Cohen of the Indy Star: Looks like no Chloe Moore-McNeil, Kaitlin Peterson and Keyarah Berry. Berry is dealing with a concussion last we heard from Teri Moren, uncertain on the other two. Chloe's been getting lots of minutes off the bench. Wonder who picks up the slack.
