  2. Maybe a small ray of hope. On the post-game radio show it was stated Morgan suffered a badly bruised shoulder but no dislocation.
  3. Fantastic shooting and even moreso when you're the road team. We hit 35 of 61 FG's for 57% and we hit 12 of 21 3's also for 57%. 20 assists on 35 made shots, also a very good stat. Makes the men's loss look even more pathetic. PSU had an RPI of 37, so this game is a genuine resume builder.
  4. At least the Lady Hoosiers know how to win. They're kicking the crap out of Penn St. on the road by 20+ points with under 2 min. left in the game.
  5. Well, we sure ain't a basketball school!
  6. Probably need to bring the Fire Tom Crean thread out of mothballs. To lose at home against this team is inexcusable and unacceptable.
  7. Bitterly disappointing to play this poorly against a team we should beat by 20+ points. Pathetic display of IU basketball regardless if we win or lose.
  8. 8 min. before kickoff - where is everybody?
  9. FYI: No. 12 Virginia is handing it to No. 6 Louisville at The Yum! Center, up 44-27 at the 15:50 mark of the second half.
  10. Jarrad Odle‏@JarradOdle Bryant wears me out. *****, whine, *****, whine, ass beat on a rebound, then score and he is the best big man in big10.
  11. This season is going to hell in a hand basket quickly. Same shoulder and almost the same way it was injured last season for Morgan.
  12. Becoming too reminiscent of the IPFW game. Nebraska just seems to want this game more than we do.
  13. Marcus Oliver isn't dressed or warming up. A'Shon Riggins is also not dressed or warming up. We're not seeing Dimitric Camiel or Brandon Knight out there with the o-linemen.
  14. END OF 1Q: Indiana trails Penn State, 22-20. 7 ties and 7 lead changes in the first 10 minutes of play. Buss with 8 pts.
  15. Looks like we've traded a 'good Troy, bad Troy' for a 'good OG, bad OG' in terms ot TO's. He has 4 in the first half.
  16. He's CTC's pick all the way.
  17. We're gonna win this game, but we can't have these kinds of starts against the top tier B1G teams or against Hooker U. Those teams will never let us get back into the game.
  18. Turnovers, Turnovers, Turnovers. 4 already
  19. More play in the Wettig Tournament, BNL defeats Portage 66-51. Bailey with 10 pts., 7 reb; 4 assts.
  20. From Kyle Neddenriep at the Indy Star: Fort Wayne North Side’s Keion Brooks is considered the state’s top prospect in the sophomore class. Considering the path several of the state’s top seniors took to prep school (Paul Scruggs, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Justin Roberts), it’s reasonable to wonder if the 6-7 Brooks will end up on a similar track. So, I asked him. Brooks said prep schools are asking about his interest. The answer, for now, is no. “I hear about it all the time,” he said. “I’m just trying to stay focused. I’m at North Side right now so I can’t venture out and think about what prep schools can do for me. I’m trying to win a state championship at North Side.” Insider: Keep an eye on the talent at Fort Wayne North Side Brooks, who has offers from Butler, Kansas State, Purdue and Xavier and high interest from many others, said he’s taking it one year at a time. But … “It’s very important for me to stay at home and play at home,” he said. Brooks has a strong connection with North Side coach Shabaz Khaliq and his father, Keion Brooks Sr., is an assistant coach on the North Side staff. Brooks Sr. played at North Side and went to score more than 1,700 points at Wright State in the late 1990s. So it wouldn’t be that easy to just pick up and move. But Brooks can also understand why players like Jackson, Roberts and Scruggs chose that route. Under the rules of the Indiana High School Athletic Association, teams are not allowed to play opponents (home or away) from more than 300 miles beyond the state line. Prep schools can play any opponent, any time. “It gives you a lot of opportunities,” Brooks said. “You get to travel all over the country and play against the best competition every night.” Will Brooks be at North Side two years from now? “If I was to say right now, yes I would,” he said.
  21. BNL defeated Herron 89-56 and finished with a 1-1 record in Pool A of the Wettig Tournament in Richmond. Bailey only scored 8 pts. but he had 7 assists and 5 rebounds.
  22. Never underestimate a Tom Izzo team.
  23. 'No room at the inn' for meaningful minutes on the Grizzlies roster with players returning from injuries. He should see lots of minutes in the D-League so in one sense it's a better opportunity for Troy to develop NBA level skills.
  24. Vic still out with his pesky sprained wrist. Troy's debut in the D-League was very good. Westbrook with yet another triple double his 15th of the year in 32 games played: 29 pts / 17 reb / 11 asst. 12.27.16 Season W/L W/L Min. Pts.
