  1. Stockrisers on Jaden Schutt - https://stockrisers.com/s/343/four-star-junior-jaden-schutt-drops-32-points-updates-his-recruitment
  2. Commentary from this past weekend at the KYDA Invitational held in Scranton, PA. -- Kyle Filipowski (2022 | NY Renaissance | Wilbraham & Monson, Mass.) The most impressive player in the gym Saturday regardless of class was this 6-10, 230-pound forward, though ‘forward’ doesn’t really encapsulate his game. Sure, he can score inside and rebound, as well as face up in the high post, but he has a handle most wings would envy, able to run the fastbreak with his head up and make plays, and he’s got a gorgeous rainbow shot from the 3-point arc. His 21-point, six-rebound effort against Team Final, where he knocked down all three of his triples, was a thoroughly eye-opening outing in all aspects.
  3. Greater detail on Meanstreets Sunday win over Grand Park Premier at the Hensley Run-N-Slam. The Bill Hensley Run-N-Slam 17u Platinum champs are Meanstreets with an 80-76 win over Grand Park Premier. Jalen Washington 14 pts; 6 reb; 2 assts. A. J. Casey 15 pts.
  4. Important thing in the link below is to watch the video of Rice in AAU action this past weekend. https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/spring-highlights-class-of-2022-top-100-4-star-guard-rodney-rice/?fbclid=IwAR1wC665rVfHTNemUv_cnXkAGnOGFREwpLtr9QsQd0akLREXYwxro__1gwk
  5. Really encourage everyone to read this. Most of what we read about commits and targets relates to the game of basketball but this is a great peak into a life apart from basketball and the events that can shape lives.
  6. Foregoing his remaining year of eligibility and turning pro.
  7. Endless Motor Sports - Strong performance for 2022 Kyle Filipowski for NY Rens EYBL at the KYDA Invitational. Versatile + skilled 6’10 Forward is a walking mismatch. Good ballskills + shotmaking ability while having the size/length to impact the game in the paint. Very undervalued by mainstreams.
  8. Meanstreets win the 17u Run 'N Slam title. Kam Craft led with 18, AJ Casey 15 and Jalen Washington 14. They were 6-0 on the weekend.
  9. Trevor Andershock - Joey Hart (2023) is getting to the rim frequently for Grand Park Premier, and Midwest Basketball Club has not bothered him once he reached the restricted area. He has 13 points, but GPP trails 23-21 at the half. He finished the game with 23 pts. and 5 reb. as GPP defeated MBC. Trent Markwith of Relentless Hoops: Everything comes easy to 2023 SG Joey Hart. He filled it up effortlessly in both games I watched today, averaging 18.5 PPG. Calm, mature wing who has a well-rounded game, good size, and just goes about his business. Gets up above the rim quickly.
  10. Indiana Elite 2023 beats Mac Irvin Fire 69-55. Amire Robinson led IE with 15 and added 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Amire is Stu Robinson's son.
  11. Jamie Shaw of Rivals - https://indiana.rivals.com/news/rodney-rice-wants-to-commit-before-high-school-season-starts?fbclid=IwAR3Aq92nNazMz6QeagcH9qTbu2KkPkg5elJEQepXNr4UC9ux3WFmIABKAwE
  12. Trevor Andershock on this morning's game - Jalen Washington and Kam Craft with 14 a piece as Meanstreets hold on by 5 against Nova. Bossi on Saturday's performance -- Currently ranked No. 22 by 247Sports and No. 20 in the industry generated 247Sports Composite ranking, Washington put on an impressive display of skill and touch as he continues to evolve and adjust as a player. When he first hit the scene two years ago, Washington was a long and lanky four man with some athleticism and ability to get out in transition. Now, he’s overcome a knee injury and has turned himself into a skilled faceup player. His footwork in the post is well above average, he is a very dangerous shooter from deep and he has a presence on the floor beyond his years. The maturity he plays with is remarkable. Whether it is nearby Purdue, Indiana, Michigan State or any of the other programs chasing him, whoever gets him will be happy to coach him.
  13. @Hoosierfan31 your schtick is getting old and very irritating maybe you should find someone else's yard to play in. You make it quite clear that it's a personal vendetta on your part and you're contributing nothing of value to this thread.
  14. Trevor Andershock from the Hensley Run-N-Slam -- Brauntae Johnson had a great freshman year for Fort Wayne North Side. On Saturday, he solidified his spot as one of the top freshmen in the state with his performance against the Wisconsin Playmakers. Tae is an athlete six-foot-two guard, and Johnson is every bit of six-two. He has wiggle off the bounce and can finish above the rim. Johnson was inconsistent from three during the high school season, but he hit a triple in the double-overtime win, and his free-throw motion looked good. He finished with 15 points in the win. Johnson is one to remember in 2024.
  15. Trevor Andershock - On the other end of the floor, Team Teague fielded many strong performances. North Central’s Leland Walker lived in the lane. He is so quick off the dribble and has excellent handles. Walker made fast players look slow-footed. He finished once he reached the paint as well.
  16. Trevor Andershock - Jalen Washington turned in a great performance against Team Teague. It was the best Indiana Basketball Source has seen him play this travel season. He was nailing shots from all over the court – pick and pop threes, trailing threes, face-up jumpers in the mid-range, finishing at the basket. He was also a force on the boards with multiple effort and out of his area rebounds. Washington displayed why he is the top prospect in the state’s 2022 class as he pushed Meanstreets to the win over Team Teague.
  17. No idea how much interest we're showing in Comer. Trevor Andershock - Cathedral’s Tayshawn Comer produced in each area as Indy Heat 17U beat Kingdom Hoops. Early on, the point guard drove to the basket with ease. Once he was there, Comer finished with high arching shots and layups. Comer’s outside shot continues to develop. He nailed a couple of contested shots in the victory. His overall game is progressing well. Trent Markwith of Relentless Hoops -- Tayshawn Comer attacked early & often to help Indy Heat build a 20-point 1st half lead this morning. Got himself going from deep first and used his strength & quickness to make things happen in the lane. Looked like he was out to make a statement against another good PG.
  18. It was a day full of personal bests for Indiana Track & Field as they completed the final day of the B1G Indiana Invite No. 4/Billy Hayes Invite. https://iuhoosiers.com/news/2021/5/1/track-and-field-all-gas-no-brakes-on-final-day-of-b1g-indiana-invite-4-billy-hayes-invite.aspx?fbclid=IwAR1vIG537QcwYyDaAEBzqKY9k6WKeLtt_ZEbBUceI8zGugDwSxCn7xHflgU
  19. SF Leon Bond of Wauwatosa HS in Milwaukee surfaced towards the end of the Miller regime. This tweet from Mike Schumann today: Bond was one of the more impressive players I saw today. He told me he hasn't heard from #iubb since the coaching staff changed, but I'd be surprised if he doesn't see a new wave of high majors enter the mix. Impressive skill, length, motor and athleticism. Then this from Eric Bossi and his comments from Friday night's Hensley Run-N-Slam event -- When I first saw unranked small forward Leon Bond in person a month ago, I wrote that the rising senior from Wauwatosa (Wisc.) East was going to end up a high major target. Since then, players reclassifying made it so we were at least able to move the 6-foot-5 wing into very back end of the 247Sports top 150. When we do a full update, though, Bond is going to be a four-star and it will just be a matter of how highly he will be ranked in that range. Playing with JH1 Elite, Bond looked even better than he did the last time I saw him. He’s a boss rebounder, defender and above all a competitor. Those attributes alone are worthy of high-level looks, but Bond brings a lot more to the table. The guy has a tremendous feel for the game, makes good reads, is a sneaky good ball handler and above all seems to make the right basketball play every time. Bond got his first high major offer from Virginia Tech and they deserve credit for being ahead of the pack on this one because more will come. Bond told me that things hadn’t gotten too crazy yet this spring, but Butler and hometown Marquette are both trying to get him on campus as soon as the dead period ends at the beginning of June and Indiana is among those who have been in contact. Assuming there is some type of high school sanctioned event for him to play in when coaches can get back out in June, they’ll want to see him.
  20. Eric Bossi from Friday's Hensley Run-N-Slam event. Talk about explosive, three-star combo guard Leland Walker looks like he’s been shot out of a cannon when he gets downhill and looks to elevate in traffic. The six-footer for Team Teague is stronger than you think and he puts a lot of pressure on you to be ready to help if you aren’t his primary defender because the first guy, he’s blowing by him. Walker had initially planned to commit early, but things seem to have opened up now. Indiana is going to monitor him, Xavier has been on him for a while, Providence was in the mix during the winter while Cincinnati, among many others, will be involved.
  21. Eric Bossi on Friday night's Hensley Run-N-Slam. One of 247Sports top 75 sophomores in the country, shooting guard Reed Sheppard is a plenty bouncy finisher at the rim. His Midwest Basketball Club won big on Friday so he didn’t need to score much and didn’t look to take many shots. Instead, he impressed with his passing and ability to find open teammates. At about 6-foot-3, he looks well deserving of the attention he’s been getting of late.
  22. Josh Verlin @jmverlin @Nepa_Elite’s 17s hung with the @NYRhoops for the first dozen minutes but now it’s 37-21 Rens early in the second half. Nobody can stop Kyle Filipowski today. Best player in the gym.
