Anyone know what the latest coaching hot board is over at Peegs?

How did he end up comparing to JBJ? I remember early on he was advertised as the best of the three but I know he’s dealt with injuries as well.

Not sure I’ve seen it addressed here but maybe you all know more than I do about it, what is the story behind him dad pulling him off Indiana Elites main team last year in the middle of a tournament. His dad wanted him to be featured more so he pulled him off the team? Could be a big reason why the bigger schools haven’t pulled the trigger on offering him

Any idea who Luke is playing AAU with this summer. Saw that the Indy Heat and Indiana Elite rosters were announced today and he wasn’t on either one

From a couple places I’ve read from he just doesn’t do anything special. Solid player but nothing stands out.

Per the 247 Twitter page Ramsey is entering his name into the transfer portal. Can’t say that I’m surprised but I also am. Wish him nothing but the best.

Miller and Ostrum recruited Towns out of high school. His problem is his last two seasons have been cut short by injury

Everything I’ve seen and read about him screams project. He’d be a practice player but wouldn’t be an in game, on the court contributor.

I’m really interested to see if IU starts taking a closer look at Pack. He’s small but he’s a fantastic scorer and just seems to be a winner

How do we know that the staff isn’t? I don’t feel like we knew about Fitzner until it was pretty close to a commitment

Just got done reading that on Inside the Hall and immediately came back here to discuss. His comments are worrisome for me as well. I know the NBA is the goal for every player but we’ve seen that go badly here too often. Players that use IU as a stepping stone without investing much in the program. He’s a great player though. I’ll be curious to see what happens

Both him and Leal have really good offers but seems both have been waiting for the IU offer.

Galloway got an offer during his in home. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Leal get on as well.

I’m curious if this is a commitable offer? Archie doesn’t seem like the type of coach to offer and tell a kid he wouldn’t accept his commitment immediately but who knows

Even at IUs worst Assembly Hall has been full I will give you that. That being said the media picked IU to be middle of the pack this year and yet we had a big portion of the fan base talking about winning banner number 6. What I’m saying is exactly what was mentioned before, if we had Michigan and Beileins success ( big ten champions ever few years, finishing top 5 yearly, long tourney runs but no championships yet) would Indiana fans be trying to run him out of town? Brian Snow said on a podcast that’s Archie could have a long career with his brothers level of success here if people let him. Will IU fans let him? My whole argument is as a fan base we need to realize we haven’t been consistently relevant in 25 years. I would take the level of success that Purdue, Michigan, and Michigan State have had over the last decade and I’m not sure if most IU fans will. I think Archie can build something here still

This is what really scares me about the program. I think IU can get back to blue blood status but seems like a good portion of the fan base has unrealistic expectations. If IU currently had Michigan’s level of success under Beilein (consistently at the top of the Big Ten, winning the conference every couple of years, making tournament runs, etc) i think that portion of the fan base would still be upset. I mean I want IU to win another title as much as anyone but I would kill for the current success that Michigan, MSU, and even Purdue has had over the last decade

Well I have read several times from IU best writers that the reason Archie didn’t overhaul the roster when he came in is because the APR seas so bad that kicking a bunch of guys off would’ve resulted in a postseason ban because of the APR
