  1. I think with improved weapons in the receiving corps Sudfeld will have a better season. Yeah he struggled himself some this year, but much of it was crappy play by the receivers.
  2. Sweet. 3 star QB, sounds good to me.
  3. Eligible immediately and 3 years left I believe
  4. Fantastic!! Now convince your boy he should come here too to step in at RB.
  5. Haha the best red zone threat in the history of the game
  6. The receiver for sure, I'm just hoping the running back comes in a package deal with him. They said surprises, which is plural, so that makes me very excited.
  7. Hawkins would just be a sophomore correct? Sounds like a sweet deal for us.
  8. When I saw UAB was getting rid of football, I was hoping we would try and take advantage of that. Looks like 2 good players to me.
  9. It's hard to judge any QB this year based on how poorly our receivers have played.
  10. Camp, I believe that was because they planned on using this as a redshirt year for him.
  11. Obviously a lot can change in a year, but Diamont isn't ready now and he would have to play awfully good to unseat a 5th year senior who has had a solid career here. I'm not saying hand it to Sud, but I would be shocked if he isn't the starter next year. My guess is we bring in another QB, whether that be a Juco or a freshman, that will compete with Sud and allow Diamont to get a redshirt year in and prepare to take over (or attempt to take over) when Sud leaves. To be honest, I'm more concerned with our receiving core next year than our QB situation.
  12. Incarnate Word..isn't that the school we beat out for Priller?
  13. Man, I wish they'd change something up next week. Zander clearly isn't working.
  14. See! He can throw. Keep it up fellas. I'm off to work, cheer these guys to victory.
  15. I wish they'd take the training wheels off of Diamont. Ready or not, they can't keep babying him or we'll never win another game. How long will it take before they see running every time isn't moving the offense? Let him make his mistakes, and take the good plays with the bad. Maybe our offense would actually score a point and we might actually win. Hate to waste this great defensive effort in a loss.
  16. Hornets made a huge comeback against the Bucks. Once they get Vonleh in the mix that will make them even more dangerous.
  17. Upperclassmen would be nice, but not if it's guys that don't want to be here, or guys who wouldn't get any playing time anyways. Guys like Hollowell, good luck to whoever got stuck with him. I imagine Etherington made his own decision to leave in search of more playing time. Can't blame him there.
  18. schoosier, what makes you think we ran those players off? Considering the turnover we had when Vic, Cody, C-Wat, Jordy, etc. all left, I find it hard to believe Remy was pushed away. As for Jurkin, he couldn't stay healthy and wasn't going to get on the floor here, so he likely made the easy decision to head elsewhere. Even if TC sat down and told him that himself, I have no issue with that. I'm not ok with running players off, and more than likely it has happened here in the past few years, but I don't think it was the case in either of these situations.
  19. Count me as another fan of Remy, and I hope he has success this year at Xavier (that is, unless they play IU).
  20. I would think he means he will decide no later than spring, but after coming to HH he will clearly see that there is no need to wait that long to make a decision. Whoever is going Saturday make sure and let him know how badly Hoosier Nation wants him here.
  21. Haha yeah send him the women of B-Town!! No high school kid can say that doesn't impress them.
  22. Wow, the recruitment of this kid really happened quickly. I never thought we were the favorites to land him, but let me say welcome to Bloomington young fella!!! Remember, a ranking is just a number. Victor Oladipo can tell you that if you don't believe me. This is Indiana, and it's all up to you whether or not you will be great. Enjoy your senior season.
  23. Ah, an emotional letdown. It's a familiar feeling with this program. Somehow every year I'm foolish enough to get all worked up again. Not giving up, but if this game is any indicator, it's going to be another long, heart breaking season for IU football fans.
