  1. IU is #12 in the coaches poll. Third in the B1G behind MSU (9) and Wisconsin (10). Our opening opponent, Kansas, is #2 (#3 AP) *Update - AP Poll has us at #11*
  2. I heard a rumor that CKW also looks at his opponent's controller during play selection when playing Madden.
  3. Headline the morning after it airs - "After giving documentary full access to his life, Bob Knight refuses to ever again speak to film's director for including the information in the film."
  4. I was watching it in a bar and couldn't hear anything. Did something happen with Lagow's neck or is this a shoutout to his neck?
  5. Ben Chappell got a stint in DC as well.
  6. I'd rather have our team be sponsored by LA Gear than have the jumpman on our football jerseys.
  7. Lunardi has had UK as a 1-seed going into every year since Cal's been there and they've ended up a 4-seed or worse four of those seven seasons. The seeding doesn't even make sense anymore. Win an outright conference title in 2016 and we're a 5-seed. Finish 5th in the conference in 2012 and we're a 4-seed. I would just like us to not be in the same half of the regional bracket as the 1-seed for once, unless we are the 1. You'd also think they'd stop valuing winning the Big 12 considering Kansas has been over-seeded 75% of the time during Self's tenure, but they don't.
  8. Should be conference favorites (again!) next year. ESPN also has us way-too-early #8 right now. UNC, UVA, Kansas, and Kentucky are all ahead, all are losing key pieces and will be very young as well so I'm not buying us at #8. UK is always pre-season top 3 due to recruiting, but I'm not expecting them to be in the "team to beat" conversation with their roster next year. Kansas will win the Big 12 again, get a 1 seed and lose in the 2nd round of the tournament, and they're losing some key upperclassmen. UVA loses Brogden and will be freshmen heavy and UNC loses their key pieces. With TB coming back IU is a top 3 team next season. Should be a fun year and Big10 title #23 along with a deep tourny run is the expectation.
  9. Duke won one game and didn't make the ACC championship game  last year and they ended up fine as well.
  10. How? Other than Troy the whole team was going 80% today. Unless you're a bubble team, winning is punishment in conference tournaments.
  11. Anyone pissed about this is about as short sighted as complaining that daylight savings time will cost them an hours sleep on Sunday.
  12. No leg injuries, no serious arm injuries, no concussions, no sprained/broken ankles, got to stay loose between the MD game and the NCAAT, two extra days of rest and a wake up call. I hate these conference tournaments and other than winning a meaningless game(s), this is fine by me.
  13. What would be better for IU moving up in NCAAT seeding: beating MSU to win the BTT or winning the BTT and having MSU not even make the championship game?
  14. They also beat Kansas, which always means something in the regular season and absolutely nothing the NCAAT (sans the 1940 and 1953 championship games). You want to talk about a more consistently over-seeded program...
  15. I mean, yea it's a noteworthy feat and all, but with the conference expansion and unbalanced schedules this team only got to play @MSU and against Rutgers and Penn State once. Lets see how they would stack up playing more bottom-feeders and the #2 team at home and then we'll talk...
  16. Are they getting rid of the amateur hour "kiddie field" behind the endzone?
  17. I'm picking Kansas and MSU to make the championship, which will nearly guarantee neither of them will make it.
  18. Really glad Wiscy, MSU, and Maryland are in the other bracket. This team should make the championship game.
  19. Who's the who?
