I wish someone in the media had the balls to ask Archie why Green plays so much after a game like this. It won’t happen as it would look pretty bad to single out a student athlete like that but I’d love to hear Archie twist and try and answer that.

I had a feeling it would happen going into the season then I saw his defensive improvement and was on the fence but I think we’ll see him transfer after this season. Just don’t see a Big10 caliber player when watching him although he’s not the only one in that boat in my mind.

Damezi is healthy to play and he couldn’t see any time in the first half while Green was doing what he was doing out there. Honestly I can’t with Archie and his tough talk after the NW game. What are we doing?

Ok I can’t defend Green anymore. I doubt we see another Florida St performance again this season, just play Al, Franklin, Damezi and Phin. If you’re going to play like this what’s the difference

Smart minds think alike. I can’t believe how bad they are offensively and shooting. We’ll hear the usual 13-4 talk after this one but this isn’t sustainable away from home. You can’t just gameplan around shooting 25-30 free throws a game in any league.

A game of PIG or knockout with this team would last an eternity

Why not bench Green when he plays like that? Would Franklin be that much downgrade vs what Green put out there? I’ve been one of his supporters as he’s already won us one or two games this year but that was bad. Brass Cannon mentioned the accountability and I tend to agree especially after that first half. He takes Phinesee out at every opportunity which I just don’t get. We fall apart without him and it can’t be the conditioning. Young of Ohio St lost an appendix and played significant minutes his first time back. So confusing what Archie is thinking at times.

Shot clock was winding down. Would have helped if Durham didn’t dribble the clock down to under 10 so we didn’t have to force something. Two captains with a bad possession there

The scoring is what he's supposed to bring, in my opinion. When he's not doing that he's essentially Aarman Franklin.

What I’ll never understand here is all the focus on Green win or lose yet Al gets a pass constantly other than the excuse he wasn’t highly rated coming in so expectations are somehow less. Dude IS a captain after all

Green still had his moments but what a game from him. If we could just get both captains to show up for the same game wouldn’t that be a sight!

Smith is not having a good game. At all

I think he’s one of the better offensive players on the team. Hit footwork in the post is really something. He probably will never be quick enough on defense for some of the bigs in the conference but really solid. Happy to have him and I’ve been critical of him previously but more so on the defensive end

Brunk, so steady of an offensive player. Just solid

We aren’t as deep but we still play 11 guys??? 10 today without Anderson. It’s surely not Archie’s fault we can’t hit a shot but he controls who plays. No reason to play this many guys when our roster is not adequate

I think I agree to an extent. I think people see this combined with the rumblings of upperclassmen having a disconnect with the coaching staff and start connecting the dots. Not sure how accurate any of it is, but this was something I definitely noticed during the game. I definitely feel for Davis and all the injuries and he was a bit fun to watch early in his IU career but he doesn't seem to help us this year. Green...I'm not sure about to be honest, such a frustrating player to watch at times.

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but has anyone heard of rumblings of former Knight players telling Knight to stay home as this reunion isn't isolated to just Knight players? That's quite disappointing if accurate

Maybe I’m wrong but it really looked like Justin Smith was imitating the move of the offensive player and explaining why he got lost on defense during that exchange. I could be wrong and your surely not the first to take issue with that exchange, that is just what it appeared like to me but I honestly didn’t rewind to rewatch but I know one of the mods did. As for De’Ron in one of those replays he was clearly shaking his head and whispering to Devonte after Trace had missed a bunny but was fouled going into one of those timeouts
