With all due respect, he was 11-21 his first season. I'm not sure that's extremely successful. And remember I said with "all due respect" which, if I learned anything from Ricky Bobby, it means I can say anything I want

A career .500 coach out of the Horizon league? Hard pass for me, but I can understand the appeal

Not sure how much IU football you watch, but were you thinking the same about Tom Allen? I know I was and gladly eating all the crow I can handle.

That's my bad then. I saw the dark hair and conflated Leal and Galloway, just had the wrong length of hair. -

I also thought Trey was one of the ones to console TJD when he was in tears after the outburst. Wasn't long as TJD was inserted back in the game but I thought he was over picking up his spirits. If Trey were just told "F You" it doesn't make sense he'd be over there immediately. -

You'd rather have those 3 out there guarding Henry? Geronimo might have stood a chance, but those other two would get bodied by Henry and it wouldn't be pretty. -

Really? I thought Stuhoo wound back the tape and said it was a coach who was on the receiving end. Would really love to know but I suspect it will go unanswered. Archie was asked about it in the post game and said he didn't recall that happening, so either he wasn't the recipient or was shielding TJD from further criticism. -

I hope we're still not dealing with Aaron Henry by the time Trey is a junior : ). That gives me nightmares just thinking about, but I get your point. I'm higher on Trey than most. He does the little things, or at least was, the ball doesn't stick to him on offense, and in a pinch can handle the ball as he's shown from his time at CMA. If he can just develop a consistent shot he'd be such a better player and will need to develop one if he wants to survive in the Big10. -

I could be mistaken, but Hunter's foul trouble was in large part from trying to guard Henry. One of those fouls was from that awful reach on a post entry, but I was thinking most of his other fouls was his inability to keep Henry in front of him and falling for pump fakes and getting in the air or not going straight up on Henry. Galloway was at least putting a chest into Henry making things difficult for him, but I'll totally agree with your take that Galloway is not a threat on offense and shouldn't be in a position to take screens looking to shoot. -
Fife might not be the home run we all want, but Allen has proved, to me at least, building a culture can overcome whatever deficiencies there might be with coaching knowledge or in a program's infrastructure. If Allen can turn around a dormant, or nonexistent, IU football program with his LEO philosophy, I'm totally onboard with giving Fife a chance if no one else wants the job and Fife wants it. IU basketball is a different animal than IU football I'll admit, but honestly what is the culture that is Archie Miller's IU basketball? I'm not sure I have an answer to that one. Just my take though. Make Brad Stevens say no, which I fully expect he would, then go after Fife

I'm likely in the minority, but I thought Galloway was doing a decent job on Henry. He's going to get his points and I think he had 12 at the time when Archie put the starters back in after the under 4 TV timeout. It wasn't until then that he went off for 10 straight or whatever it was. Hunter is probably our best offensive player, or at least has the highest ceiling as he can shoot a little, but he can't guard Henry from both a strength standpoint or quickness standpoint. That's not what cost us the game, don't mistake me, but just something I noted when I saw the starters put back in and sure enough things fell apart from there on. -
I watched that as well, but that Henry question was some bulls***. I don't blame him for a second for getting short after that one. But he's defeated. I'll admit I was a huge fan of the hire initially as it checked a lot of the boxes for me. I think the offensive sets are fine, and the defensive philosophy makes some sense, but when you can't shoot and have poor and inconsistent guard play, it's tough to win. Just a sad end to an already disappointing tenure. To see the players snapping back at coaches the last couple weeks is a terrible look and I'd rather we could avoid the last games, however many there will be.

To get back on the game - TJD has to play, but I’m shocked that these outbursts in the huddles aren’t resulting in prolonged bench stays. Hunter was starting the game after his. Part of it has to be Archie’s seat is getting hotter and he knows it and part of it is likely he’s still so thin he’s got no choice, but it’s incredibly alarming. Starts at the top, but man that was an embarrassing display tonight out of that timeout -

Why would any good transfer want to come here. I'm not sure where the Henry rumor started, but I can't fathom a scenario he'd leave Michigan State and Izzo to play at IU, Archie or not. -

7-0 run out of the F You timeout. Down by 7 with 15 seconds. Sad to see -

I'm usually not one to care or talk about body language, but TJD looks like he'd rather be anywhere else but East Lansing right now -

Starting lineup back in. Thought Galloway was doing well on Henry. Not sure Hunter is quick enough or strong enough to do the same job. Come on Hoosiers! -

TJD needs to move the ball! He can't get his shot off in traffic and we're wasting precious possessions trying to let him go to work -

Need to get TJD the ball, yes, but he also can't force it Hummel. He did it twice in a row and I suspect one of the coaches told him he needs to give that up and we got the "F You" on the replay. -

The margin for error with this team is just so small. Michigan State should be getting buried right now if we could simply hit shots. Combined that with whatever is going on in the locker room, this season is becoming just an absolute grind -

Wow TJD hot in the huddle. Just dropped a "F You" at someone during that timeout. Had to double check but yes we are winning? Come on guys wait to implode after the game. We can win this one -

He's been active on the boards tonight for sure. Bad reach and could have passed it once or twice, but he's had a nice game so far from where I sit -
