New guy is still going to have to appease stakeholders in the donor crowd, on the BoT, who are fans of Woodson. This idea goes a long way to ease transition-in AND transition-out.

Have to ask where those funds were put together and how the offer was handled. Money has strings attached, always. My guess is that in this case the strings for "taking a long shot on Stevens" were "if you miss, hire this guy".

Counterpoint: you've brought nothing to this board beyond repetitive criticism and vitriol. Some of that is welcome, but preferably balanced if not outweighed by insight, humor, rumors - anything other than pot-shots at other posters really. It's cool that you've got a line on Beard's finders fee or whatever. We get it.

I don't think the NFL is rolling things back. But, college basketball still has a chance.

I'm completely fed up with calls being reviewed. It's reached NFL levels of excessiveness: both time spent watching replay and the number of calls being reviewed. It's the main reason I rarely watch more than a few minutes of any NFL game. NCAA needs to institute a time limit for review, 30 seconds from when replay starts. It would also be beneficial to emphasize review should be minimized and not the default - as it's become for like every out-of-bounds call.

I dunno, they routinely get 1k+ watching their post game live stream on YouTube. I agree though, gotta be another reason for the lack of tickets.

I guessed that it was an inadvertent whistle? Did you notice that same ref doing a little "gotta get warm" shuffle-run just after? If it was inadvertent, it wasn't the only blatantly wrong anticipation call during that game.

Just in case others might be in the same situation as myself, not knowing about this podcast, I wanted to reference it here. It's the Beyond the Big Ten podcast, most episodes are IU focused (Ball from Assembly Hall) and are hosted by Christian Watford and Derek Elston. You can find it via this: Linktree The most recent episode was a post-season interview with Miller Kopp. It was very interesting, especially because it was a player to player conversation - which is a bit lacking in most IU coverage. It was also pretty funny hearing confirmation about Crean literally never shooting once during Christian and Derek's time at IU.
