Vandy laying an absolute Faberge egg at home against Oklahoma. Down 21 at the 2nd half U16.

(2027) - SF Gabe Nesmith

Watched a Jenkins game the other night against Jermaine O’Neal’s team, FAZE, that had Marcus Spears JR and it was apparently Nesmith’s 1st game of the year due to injury. Had a nice game, nothing super special. The announcers, and God are they brutal listening, were going on about what a great shooter he is, though he only took a couple of 3’s. The athleticism popped pretty loudly. S’pose we’ll keep an eye this one. Side note: OTE broadcasts are damned near unwatchable. The main camera moves laterally the length of the floor with the ball which makes the perspective odd, there’s music playing pretty much all the time, though they do turn it down some when the ball’s in play, and the announcers don’t really care much about the game and are just sort of chatting it up like fans. -
Yeah, Pritch rates every benefit of the doubt, no question, but I won’t rest easy on that pick until lottery night.

I hate that ‘26 is on the table at all. Too many historical examples of things going exactly as badly for the Pacers as they could have. Can see it now: they somehow end up at 5 and the Clippers take Ament who then turns into Paul George.

Can’t figure out what’s happening here. Never seen anything like it. Is his shooting hand his left hand or his right hand?

Used to run and Eli’s Coming was on my playlist because the rhythm was absolutely perfect for my stride. Listened to it a million times.

Yeah, not a chance. I don’t care who it is, nobody is moving the needle 30 or 40 points by himself against a Zona or a UConn or a Michigan and doing it multiple games in a row. Maybe he can move it 20 and if they’re having a bad night they have a shot to beat 1 of them once, but that’s as far as that goes.

Check this out. Pretty floored by the split in opinion here.

It never ends. Dude graduated from High School in 2019 and never had an injury redshirt and is suing to play in 2026. Was in the same HS class as Bo Nix.

Have been arguing this for years. Basketball is 100% an offensive skill game. Always love hearing guys who’ve forgotten more than I’ll ever know talking like this.

Wow. That was cool. Unbelievable what they’ve done with that kid. 1st part of last year he was almost unplayable and now he’s an NBA guy. Also has the added benefit of being the guy on the floor no one wants any part of.

Wow.

Ivisic with one of the all-time IQ plays for Illinois. That was incredible.

Building that relationship for 2031 portal season. -
The only Bama games I’ve seen this year are PU, Gonzaga, Vandy and this one. Oats needs to pay me not to watch them.

The only thing you have to get from Conerway is buy-in for not hearing his name during intros. Right now DDV subs him at the under 16 and back at the under 12 and then goes with matchups the rest of the half. Been the same every half of every game. Now they’d probably sub him in under 16, out probably right before the under 8 and then play matchups from there. And he’s gonna be on the floor at the end of games, no doubt about it. I doubt his total minutes would change at all.

(2026) - PF Miikka Murrinen

Might be a thing because he’s definitely different, but it also may be just another of the many, many examples of top level Euro HC’s just not liking young players. -
I defer to those of you who know this piece miles better than I do. But it does feel super encouraging.
