Reading the Duke boards is pretty funny. Most saying they will smoke us. I actually think we win that game, making it Archie's first big win at IU.
-
YESSSSS I'm pumped for this. I need to find tickets ASAP. Also our non con just got a ton better!

Yup. I'm guilty of replying to him and falling in that trap, but this is getting old. Every time I click on the recruiting icon expecting news it's just more posts in this useless thread.

In regards to the bolded, you should take your own advice
-
Of what exactly? Lol

I really like Anderson. He keeps putting up solid numbers and think he would be great here. Hopefully we offer soon, as he's been here multiple times and seems to want an IU offer.
-
Haha that's where I played at. Knew there was another Hopf kid coming up the line but never thought he would be D1 material
-
I would assume that means the Hoosier classic or whatever it was called. Where we usually play some lower tier teams at assembly hall early in the season. Pretty sure the USF game is a part of it this year.

So Rabjohns posted a story that 3 of the 4 opponents for our early season home event are known. It's behind a paywall (no idea why scheduling would be behind a paywall, but whatever). Sorry if it's against forum rules to ask, but can anyone share if they have access?

Can't remember where I saw it but someone was saying Florida State would be our opponent. If that holds true it's good, but not great. I'd rather have Virginia

Give me this over Southwestern Missouri State of the Poor any day

That right there is the difference between PU and IU. On his way to a 2nd round pick in the NBA and still thinking about us Lol -

Swanigan staying in the draft. Good decision on his part -

Yup. Opportunities for guys able to make bigger jumps than Swanigan out there. I don't ever see him going higher than about mid 20s and I personally wouldn't draft him first round. That's nothing against him. He's like Frank Kaminsky, a great college player that doesn't translate well to the pros. -

There will be guys with better athleticism that we haven't heard of jumping him. It happens nearly every year -

It'll be great for Purdue, but he'll be making a bad decision coming back. His draft stock can't really improve and he's only getting older -
This is my take as well. Bring in a guy like Nahziah who doesn't expect minutes right away and a couple years from now he could be a solid contributor. This is the kind of guy you take a flyer on. I've watched some videos and he isn't a Priller or April. He has skills and athleticism, which you can never have enough of.

Yeah sorry not trying to direct traffic away from here or anything. This is the best board by far :) Just wanted to add another source to all that's been said! -

Just throwing this out there but another board is saying Gelon is gone and it should be announced this week. If you look at his insta he changed his profile pic away from IU back to his HS pic. Would make sense as I don't ever see him being a contributor here. -

I like Mcroberts, but he shouldn't ever get in the game unless we're in foul trouble. He was a deer in the headlights on offense and a non factor. Sure he hustles on D and dives on the floor. But how many guys just sagged off of him to help on our more effective offensive players?
