  1. It sounds creepy when you put it that way lol
  2. Peegs mentioned that Brooks is staying overnight and will be here tomorrow as well. Apparently it's to spend more time with Archie and staff. That sounds like really good news to me.
  3. Highlights exist to show you the players best skills and what he's capable of. Of course they aren't the best measurement, but they give you a great idea of what a player can be like when he's hitting on all cylinders. Like with everything, it isn't the end all be all, but just a piece of the puzzle.
  4. This would be HUGE for Archie and staff. I don't expect a commitment soon, but just getting him on campus is big.
  5. That makes me feel better. I'm trying to find a silver lining here because I trust the staff. It just irks me knowing we have much better options the next year.
  6. For a guy that supposedly has a high motor, those rebounding numbers aren't very encouraging.
  7. Who did he play for during AAU? Was he still behind a bunch of talented guys? I would hope that's the case because besides his highlights being medicore, his stats weren't that great either.
  8. I wish there was full game tape out there to watch on Forrester. His highlights just don't do anything for me and the staff must see something. Looks like he's going to be ours so it'd be nice to have a better read on his game. One thing that does give me some solace is he has offers from the likes of Xavier, Miami, Seton Hall, Va Tech, etc. Not the best programs, but not all mid majors.
  9. If I'm Archie, I'm holding out the last 2 scholarships for Romeo, Garland, or any other 5 star that wants to come. That would leave us with 3 rides for 19', which I'm guessing will end up being 4 with a transfer. Perfect for guys like Brooks, Watford, Hurt, TJD, Igiehon, Anthony, etc. We're in on too many talented guys in 19' to be left with 2-3 schollies IMO.
  10. Not to keep hijacking the thread, but a lineup of Newkirk, Johnson, Morgan, Moore, and Davis sounds amazing. The length + height in that lineup would be insane. On another note, even if we do have transfers the Forrester recruitment doesn't make sense to me. We have Race, who is much better, at the same position. We're also recruiting guys in 19' that are much more talented at the same position. If we take Forrester I'll support him, but I can't pretend I won't be disappointed.
  11. From reading around I think we will definitely get TJD. If we can get 2 more out of Brooks, Watford, Hurt, Okoro, Igiehon, and Stewart I'll be a very happy fan.
  12. With Romeo we would be #1. It wouldn't end up that way, but still an amazing class if it comes to fruition.
  13. I'm actually getting a lot more excited about him the more first hand accounts I read. Welcome Rob! Glad we have a PG in the fold
  14. This is absolutely dispicable. I hope whoever was advising him lost their job. And the NCAA is the worst governing body in all of sports. What a joke!
  15. This year's team doesn't have a 5 star. I think Rob (49) and De'ron (41) are our 2 highest rated coming out of high school.
  16. Yup. Thanks to (finally!) a grueling OOC schedule.
  17. Is your inbox full? Can't send you a message
  18. I don't think anyone knows. We all know it will just be sometime before the end of the month. I'm putting my money on sometime this weekend as a guess.
  19. That would be above and beyond for his first year of recruiting. It would definitely blow my expectations out of the water.
  20. Not to get off topic, but that game was the closest I've ever come to throwing a remote through the TV.
  21. Really good point. But a team like Northwestern isn't someone to overlook anymore. They'll be solid this year. I think a team like Maryland is on par with us too. Minnesota will be good. Not saying we won't win those games, just saying they'll be tough. Also, the Kohl center officiating is always interesting to say the least. I'm never confident going there.
  22. Yup. Brutal stretch of games besides Iowa. We get a few cupcakes and then another rough stretch of games with @Wisconsin, @Minnesota, Penn State,Northwestern, @Michigan State, and Maryland. Definitely a rough beginning to BIG. The good news is the back half of our schedule is a little more light and hopefully we get more rest that way before heading into the tourney. Is it basketball season yet??
  23. I also think Cujo needed to work on much more. Ball handling, strength, driving ability and defense were all average to below average last year.
  24. Cujo over Green? Interesting. I've thought for a while that Cujo would be our most likely transfer candidate.
