I don't think I have ever seen a team regress as much as this one has from the start of the year to now.

Years and years of absolute distaste for all things Purdue make it impossible for me to ever wish them well. I concede that they are are good this year but that's the best I can do. Nothing would please me more than to deny them clinching a share of the title tonight on their home court!

Didn't Fife actually bite someone during a game while at IU. Talk about intense!

With respect to Mr Glass, of course he could "just lie", he is an attorney after all! That being said, I like him and think he's done a good job at IU and, unlike some of his predecessors, he's an IU guy.

I think / hope we win tomorrow. In fact, I think they win three, maybe four more depending on the BTT draw, to close out the season. For all that's wrong with this team, it almost has to be an us against the world mentality in the locker room.

Lower expectations leads to lower stress which increases life expectancy.

I want a new coach but am not convinced we get one this year. I'm more than ready to know one way or the other. Glass seems like the type to always have a list, and when the time comes, to consult a select few people and make his own choice. I have no idea what he is thinking and so far he is not saying. I know that without change my expectations going forward will be very low.

Does it have to have wheels?

YIKES!!! I can't imagine anything with more toxic potential at this point.

For the record, I was around for the entire tenure of Coach Knight. At various times I loved / hated him for a variety of reasons. I was ready for a change before he was fired. I don't care whether he comes back or not, that's entirely his choice. What I want now is a new coach and a team I can enjoy watching.

I don't think there is ever a lead this team can't play their way out of!

We have enough talent on the floor to compete and win against most teams. The question is will they show up and will they compete? I'm mildly interested to see how it plays out tonight.

Classic in a Woody Hayes sort of way. I loved his explanation. I just knew there had to be some good stuff out there. The funny thing is that when you are young you just kinda accept things and don't think about it too much.

In an attempt to add some levity to our dire situation, I would like to know some of the funniest or most outrageous things a coach you have played for has done. I know many of you have participated in athletics in high school or college and there must be some great stories. I played a little basketball in high school back in the mid-60's and remember an incident after particularly bad half. We got to the locker room and after about five minutes the coach walked in, threw a Kotex on the floor and walked out without saying a word. Needless to say, we got the message! I don't remember much about my high school basketball days, but that sticks with me even after 50 some years.

I can't think that the locker room is a good place these days.

I just think that if you gave the players we have had the past few years to a coach who can define roles we would have had much greater success. Not everyone on the floor should have the green light to shoot at the first opportunity. The whole "play faster" and "positionless" basketball experiment needs to go. Most of the time our offense / defense resembles something I could watch at most city parks on a summer day.

If that 30 point embarrassment doesn't motivate this team, I don't know what will. At some point personal pride should kick in. I think / hope we win this one. If it goes south tomorrow, then I believe it's truly over.

I hate the drama that has plagued the program the past several years. I hate the style of play on both ends of the court and the regular cycle of hope followed by disappointment. I just want to be able to enjoy IU basketball again.

This looked like a winnable game as it was unfolding, especially after digging out of the early hole. But the same untimely mistakes and boneheaded play sealed the loss. Wisconsin was not good today and we let them off the hook.

Hard to know what to make of this win. Maybe we get right and win some games or maybe we are heading into the gates of hell.
