I’m surprised nobody is talking about the play where Morgan got hurt. The MSU player does a people’s elbow drop from the tight rope directly onto his back and shoulder and no foul is called. Why when there is a scrum for the ball, refs swallow their whistle until they call jump ball? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Best mid-day market show? Jesusshtesworth, that is like saying you are the best small forward at the YMCA in in Fort Wayne between 2-4pm and saying that with A straight face Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

Congrats to the team, well fought win! I was almost going to come here and post “nice effort” regardless, expecting a loss but way to follow through and close Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Release forester and after 5 minutes if he isn’t getting it done, put in Moore. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
-
Moore would be fine too. It’s too small of a sample but my take is that forester is the better defender and Moore is more polished on offense. Neither are juggernauts but should collectively give us 20 minutes a game at the 5 to relieve Juwan of foul concerns Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

I think we should start forester at the 5 to move Juwan to the 4 and keep him out of foul trouble. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

(2019) PF Trayce Jackson-Davis to INDIANA

It’s also the best part about Indiana basketball and the most consistent part about it. We have always shown up and supported the team. We might ***** and moan but we show up. Look at attendance in that 6 win season, that says everything Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

We started the season with slow starts and then picking it up in the second halves. Since, we haven’t mostly sucked in the first and second halves Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Have you watched Archie on the sidelines? It’s clappy 2.0 and that is the first time I have ever used that term clappy, but if it fits Crean it fits Archie too Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

I stopped getting mad about 5 losses ago and now just shrug, kinda expecting the worst now. Not how I like to live/think but I’ve become conditioned for this crap Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

So some concerns I’m having...

Not sure the point you are making but yes, they have had their chance to get acquainted with the speed of play and they are not impactful. Might as well give others a shot Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -
Inclined to Give Archie a Break

People keep saying how bad our shooters are. It’s not that, they are getting worse. Why are our players not getting better but getting worse at free throw and 3 point shooting? That’s alarming Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

I think you can expect leadership out of McBob as a senior captain regardless of how much he plays. And yes, I agree, he has given us nothing but a guy that passes and hands it off on the perimeter. He can and should be a guy that leads by example in and outside the locker room and gets on people when they aren’t falling in line. He doesnt have to start or even play big minutes to do that. What’s sad is that even McBob has regressed. He used to hit the offensive glass, set great picks, make great cuts and was a spark plug on defense. He does none of those things anymore and that is concerning with Archie and how he has trained this team to play Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
-
I don’t know what flummoxed means but this on Archie, Juwan and McBob. That is the core of our “leaders” and they aren’t getting it done. Juwan puts up big numbers but isn’t leading, there really doesn’t appear to be any Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
-
I think his point could be that we, in a season and a half haven’t beaten any good teams in conference play, none Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Inclined to Give Archie a Break
MikeRoberts replied to Bigred3588's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Juwan defended and rebounded well his freshman year, all while playing through multiple separated shoulders. Literally popping it back in while on his knees and getting up and continuing to play. That kid is tough and I am not surprised he has continued to get better every year to the point he will be in contention for all bigten honors Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app -

Romeo - talented as can be but soft Demezi - not very good yet and soft Evan - not very good and soft Rob - tbd Jake - tbd Race - tbd Jerome tbd Not the most blue collar gritty bunch that is going to erase the soft that Crean brought in. The grittiest kid on the team is Juwan and he is a Crean recruit Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
