The Thad Matta part of this is interesting. It's similar to how Alabama football has been operating over the last 10 - 15 years. (And I'm not comparing ALA football to IU basketball) They seem to innovate changes to benefit their end game. ALA always has consultants that help the program. They make up job titles daily. The AD is bringing in pieces to help facilitate the program that is a little outside the norm. You bring in a head coach that loves the school and has a strong basketball background. And then you start backfilling him to make the program successful. This might work.

I was on the fence about the hire, but after seeing Goodman's tweet I'm all on board. Goodman is such a clown.

People have lost credibility at work. Some are pissed at the insiders for sharing information. Some Goodman guy is an asshat ... IU basketball is doomed. Nobody outside of BS can coach or wants to come to IU.

Dr. Siebert is the president of the California Institute of Technology. He has a doctorate in physics from Indiana University Bloomington. --> Big Bang Theory. Clearly IU has a top notch Physics program at IU.
