mjtavier replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
You've got the same confidence, just like billy to IU. I love it!! -
That's his dad.
-
Hollowell is at Georgia State, I believe.
-
Jeff Borzello: Hawaii transfer Stefan Jovanovic is headed to Loyola Marymount. Eligible immediately.
-
Frank Jackson will be the PG

IU Basketball: Who is leaving? Who is staying?

No recruit from UNLV -
Should change that visit to the weekend before. Guarantee he would commit if he participated in some Little 500 activities!
-
Khalif Young, theres a post about him.

mjtavier replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Exactly. Kobi Simmons and Rawle can both play over Simon. -
IU Basketball: Who is leaving? Who is staying?

IU made a mistake by giving Priller a scholarship in the first place but now I believe they should have to honor it. If Priller wants to go and transfer somewhere else and play basketball, let him walk. But if he wants to stay at IU and he knows he will not play, you need to honor your commitment. Everyone has to live with the consequences of their decisions including IUBB. -
@tylerdbrooke: According to source, James Blackmon Jr. plans to transfer after season. Announcement will come after season ends. #iubb This guy is a writer for fanduel and used to write for bleacher repor. Probably saw it on our board.

Yeah you cannot touch the rim. That is a goaltend -
The kid is 18 years old, lay off of him. He made a mistake. I'm sure we all had great character and were real classy at 18.
-
He does it on purpose for the young players especially the freshman. He wants to pull them out when they have done something good rather than when they have done something bad. This boosts their confidence. I'm not sure when/where Crean said it though.

If we lose at Iowa, do we dance?
mjtavier replied to Bittersince87's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Is this a joke? -
I agree with this but it's highly unlikely they go to Allen again unless it's two top 5 teams
-
Well that is awesome. Totally forgot about Al with all the 2016 recruiting going on. Hopefully he continues to get better and shoots up the rankings!
-
Albers is ridiculous. We boo every opposing player and he air balled a shot. He got what was coming to him. He was probably more upset and the whooping we gave them and his productivity in the game

If anything admissions would focus on kids that are out of state. A university would rather take the more than 3 times tuition of the out of state kid. Universities need diversity not just all Indiana kids who "get it", plus some out of state kids know more about Indiana Basketball than Indiana kids.

I think this is the difference between a good team and a GREAT team. Izzo's teams always have a tough time at the stripe and same with Kentucky. And Wisconsin was top 10 last year I believe. MSU was 336 out of 351 teams last year in FT % at 63%. Yikes

AH yes behind the basket are incredible tickets. I have had the privilege of being behind the basket my freshman year for the Wat Shot and the next year against Michigan on Dipo's almost dunk that broke the Internet. I've got them for Maryland this year but I don't think I will be able to go because I will be on spring break.

Because students, themselves, don't even pay for them. It's one click when they are signing up for classes. They are put on their account and their parents/loans pay for them.
-
Exactly so if people know their not going to get their early, people won't go because they know they are going to be in the balcony. I was happy with the previous system. Didn't like the expanded GA section because in the balcony you don't feel like your in the "student section"
-
I think there is more alum outside of IN than in the state of IN. A weekend game is easier for everyone to attend to and that's why you see weekend ticket prices more expensive for every team college or pros team and any sport.
