I think a lot of the mythologies about how IU is a bad job because the fans aren't good to the coaches started with his whining about how he was treated here.

In case anyone was wondering what else the Colts could possibly screw up, losing to the godawful Giants last week allowed the Titans to move up to #1 in the draft. So another elite prospect enters the Colts' division. lol

I'm not all that confident we beat PSU at home. I think they'll shoot better than 3/21 from deep next time, because everybody shoots better in Assembly Hall, and by February 26th I expect team morale to be a lot worse than it is right now.

I have no idea how long they planned on him being here. I think they hoped for at least 4 years, which is why they went with 6 for the contract. I think Buckner wanted an extension after Year 2, but Dolson hadn't seen enough, and that's why he got a raise instead. Regardless, letting a coach go into his last 2 seasons with no clear future kills recruiting. They aren't going to bring him back on just 2 years.

Of course. Coaches rarely reach the end of their contracts. Woodson himself said he wanted to win right away because he knew he didn't have a lot of time to do it.

It keeps getting drowned out, but I'll keep posting it anyway: Woodson has 2 years left on his contract. If we planned on him being here more than 4 years, we would have already extended him.

Seems a lot of Big Ten teams are hitting 100+ recently. We haven't scored 100 against a Big Ten team since Crean was here.

Off topic, but Purdue is trailing Minnesota by a point early in the second half.

Best case scenario for us is probably staying as close as Washington did (73-62). They've been vaporizing everyone in their path and I could see us getting way behind right out of the gate.
