20 total points scored between IU and PSU today and 19 total points between Michigan and Northwestern.      It really is amazing how bad the Big Ten has become in football outside of the top 3-4 teams. It's even more amazing that we continue to not make bowl games every year when like 60% of FBS teams can now go to one and we'd have the inside track with the minimum requirement because we're an automatic qualifier.      But with a 13-32 record in the last four years, we've made so much progress and we're trending up, right?

We win this game with a below average quarterback under center. 

Wilson should be fired for giving this kid a scholarship. Good lord. 

I'm pretty sure if I stood 5 yards away from Diamont and asked him to throw me a ball, I'd have to move to catch it. Brutal. 

There's nothing you could pull out of the bag of tricks on 4th and 5? Not like you have anything to lose by doing it.

You'd think for being such an "offensive mastermind" that Wilson could come up with a few plays to move the ball a little more consistently. 

I wish we could have seen Oakes try a 60+ yard field goal. We already know Diamont can't throw. 

  We could run three plays and get the same results. 

LOL…ESPN showed IU leading 9-0, then updated to show 7-6. 

God this offense is pathetic. 

Is it time to break out the "Flaming Turd on a Stick" offense we ran in the Lynch years? At least it would be different. 

Maybe Diamont can strive to throw for 50 yards this week. 

  Good. We need someone who's been a head coach before and been successful with limited resources, not another offensive coordinator that's all style and no substance. 

Nothing to do with Wilson, but touching on something we discussed earlier in this thread...     Over the last few days, I heard the following comments on social media when discussing other sports/teams: "If you're a true fan, you're happy with what you have in the present" and "Being a fan means showing loyalty to those in charge."      Some people...

Nice call to kick the extra point, Coach! How many more scores do we need? Wait, you mean we needed three scores before but we still need three now?      Derp. 

I recently read a Stephen King book about time travel with an often-used phrase: "The past is obdurate. It doesn't want to change."      For example, going back in time to prevent something from happening is met with one obstacle after another as the past attempts to protect itself.      It almost feels like someone is trying to change the past and allow IU to finally beat Michigan in football, but IU isn't ever supposed to win, so things like losing Sudfeld happen to offset Michigan being terrible. Last year it was having an historically awful defense to offset our record-setting offense. 

More hilarity: Michigan fans are arguing with MSU fans that their defense did a better job against IU because they've only allowed 3 points as opposed to MSU allowing 14. 

    Welcome to my world. I've been saying for 2 years now that Wilson won't win here, and constantly had people telling me to go root for someone else. The truth hurts sometimes. 

Michigan fans are bitching about how awful Devin Gardner is. I'm telling them, have you seen who we're trotting out there? 

The only thing Kevin Wilson has done to IU football is make its historically awful all-time winning percentage even worse.      This program needs new leadership in the worst way. 

If we can't get 7 out of this then just play the walk-on QB the rest of the day. 

So now Coleman is benched because of one fumble? I guess Wilson must feel bad for Hoke...

Michigan is going to put on a show today. It will be a feel-good moment for an ailing program that's going through an historical low point.        Meanwhile, people around here will continue to point to the "progress" we've made under this coaching staff.
