How boring is this year's tournament going to be? I think for the first time since I was a kid, I won't be doing a bracket. Probably 90% of participants are going to pick UK to win it all. The contests will be over by the Final Four. I just don't see anyone beating UK. If it was going to happen, it would have happened by now. 

Up next for the Pacers: the Knicks (minus their best player) and Bulls (minus their best player).      lol

    Remember 2012? I liked 2012. 

A.J. Moye could probably guard the other team's 5 better than anyone on our roster. 

  Penn State was 3-15 overall and 0-7 in the Big Ten when we played them and they still beat us. It's just been that kind of year. 

Seriously…they're making OSU look silly on their home floor. When will it end? 

Purdue has improved so much in the last two months. God I envy them. 

Now Kyrie Irving is doubtful tonight when the Pacers play the Cavs.      Where was all this luck late last season? 

The basketball gods want the Pacers in the playoffs.      Anthony Davis was out when the Pacers played the Pelicans.      Stephen Curry was out tonight.      Kevin Durant won't be playing Tuesday.      Chris Bosh is out for the season, likely dropping Miami into the lottery.      Looks like we'll be getting the Jim O'Brien special: win enough games to stay out of the lottery but still miss the playoffs, or just barely get in and not have a real chance to do anything. 

  Don't worry, the dream I had earlier this year of Eastern Washington beating them in the Elite 8 is still in play. 

  After three years of no meetings between the teams and given where both programs are now, I doubt too many impartial observers would care about that game, nor would it be much of a contest. UK might get 50 points in the paint if we played them. 

I wish we still had Cody Zeller. He'd give Woodbury the Meyers Leonard treatment. 

Maryland fan screaming "call it on the other end!"      Hope none of the refs heard that. Big Ten refs do what the home crowd wants. 

The crowd screaming after a no-call like that usually means there will be a horrendous call in their favor later on. Prepare to be hosed. 

I reeeallly wanted to post this after a UK loss tonight…but I will anyway:   

That was the basketball equivalent of a football team that's down by 17 in the 4th quarter scoring three straight times to take the lead with 2 minutes to go, then letting the other team go 80 yards for the game winner. LSU shot their wad during that big run. 

Kentucky is about as close to perfect as any team I've ever seen. Too many things have to go right for someone to beat them. I just don't see it happening. 

Kentucky writing another chapter in their legacy as the best team of all time. These guys simply can't be beat. 

Another team crapping down its legs against UK. Freaking chokers. 

  Everyone plays dumb in crunch time against Kentucky. 

Kentucky will pull this out; LSU probably blew their load during that run. 

Purdue is in second place. What is wrong with this world. 

Will Purdue make the NCAA tournament? I think so. Looks like they've finally turned the corner. 

Two things about officiating that really bug me:   1) Screener sets a ball screen. Defensive player goes full throttle into the the screener, causing the screener to move. Moving screen called.      2) Officials not enforcing the five-second "closely guarded" rule. The defensive player practically has to be glued to the offensive player before they start counting. The rule says it should be enforced if the defender is within six feet. If this was enforced more, defenders wouldn't have to get in the grill of the ball handler, which would help cut down on hand-checking. It would also force teams to pass the ball more instead of just driving to the hoop, out of control, and getting rewarded with a foul call. 

If Purdue beats OSU tonight, they could come into Bloomington on a 7 game winning streak. Their next three games are Nebraska, Minnesota and Rutgers.
