Finally played a real team and this was the result. Not feeling too encouraged going forward. 

  Appleby looked pretty good in his first couple starts in October. I think once teams got some tape on him and were ready, he struggled. He was like 18/46 against Nebraska. 

Said it before the season started, Butler will beat us again this season. It will be another nail in Crean's coffin. 

  A.J. Hammons finally cracked double digits…I guess he felt like playing today. 

  It will probably take them 16 seconds to score against us. 

    Screw the Big Ten.    Besides, Purdue is so irrelevant that most people in other parts of the country probably don't even associate them with this conference. 

  They can have six first round picks this year for all I care. The top recruits in the country are going there anyway; might as well have them experience as much roster turnover as possible. 

Florida is losing to Louisiana-Monroe at halftime. Unreal how horrible the SEC is. 

Kansas is ranked way too high. They only beat Santa Barbara by 10 and it was close throughout. Plus Kansas always craps the bed against UK. When UK won it all a few years ago they beat Kansas twice and the Jayhawks didn't put up much resistance either time. We looked better in both games against them. 

Only 42? I fully expect them to hang at least 60 on us. They'll be in full-blown stat padding mode these next three weeks to try and get into the playoffs. Plus you know our coaching staff won't be able to get these guys to play with enough pride to stop them from doing it. 

I'm too lazy to post the picture, but apparently there were UK fans wearing shirts last night that said "Finally Some Good Basketball in Indiana."      Fuck UK. 

  I seriously think Lance is going to get hurt this season because somebody will get tired of him doing stuff like this and just level him. 

For whatever reason, the way Kansas plays matches up horribly with UK. Let's not forget we looked better against UK without a true point guard than Kansas did in two meetings with them a few years ago. 

Well since winter has arrived early this year, it's a good thing those UK fans got a healthy injection of a drug we call self-esteem. 

Anyone else feel a bit of resentment that we're not in the Champions Classic? I mean, I know why we aren't, but it just irritates me that those four teams get to take part in it every year while our "marquee home game" is Southern Methodist. 

With 9 minutes left, Louisville is leading Jacksonville State 73-22.  :o

Anthony Davis must be writing UK headlines for ESPN: "Kentucky churned out a hard-than-expected victory over Buffalo.

Buffalo was picked fourth in the MAC…in the East division. lol

Why did Michigan play a D-2 school? That doesn't count toward postseason eligibility. 

  Lembo has coached for 14 seasons and has finished with a losing record only twice. He went 44-14 at Lehigh and they were noticeably worse before he got there and after he left. He went 35-22 at Elon before coming to Ball State. BSU won just 6 games in the two seasons combined before he arrived, and he went 6-6 his first year. Say what you will about where he coached, but the guy wins games. Then we have Wilson, who's currently sitting at 13-33.      Numbers aside…my biggest problem with Wilson is the lack of leadership I see from him. Who are the leaders on this team? Who have the leaders been on any of his teams? A team that doesn't know its starting QB from week to week will probably struggle. We had capable QB's in Roberson and Sudfeld, but Wilson displayed his lack of leadership by randomly flipping back and forth between the two. Now one is injured, and the guy who threw six TD passes against Purdue is playing for Illinois State.      Ball State faces similar problems to IU (albeit on a smaller scale). Their facilities are lagging behind other MAC schools and they struggle to fill a 22,000 seat stadium. They are the only school in FBS without an indoor practice facility. Lembo has actively pushed for improvements to be made, and the school promoted him to associate athletic director. He has done everything in his power to get more people to show up for games, sending weekly emails to students and appearing on campus to meet them.     Does Wilson ever do anything like this? People will support you if they know you and like you. Based on CampCrean's story about meeting Wilson a few years ago, he doesn't sound like the type of coach students would rally around. Responding to "welcome to IU coach" with "you weren't the two little shits keeping me up last night, were you?" when he could have just said "thanks" was another character flaw revealed. If any coach ever responded to me like that, I'd feel no inclination to ever wish them success.    Lembo will leave Ball State at some point, but he relishes the challenge of improving the program. I just feel like Wilson kind of resents the obstacles he encounters and doesn't care if anyone supports him or not. 

This is a very undisciplined and poorly coached football team. 

A MAC school that's gone 2-0 against us in that time frame…lol. 

  And you don't because...

  That day will be glorious. No one is better at burying evidence than their current regime. For God's sake, someone broke a state law to make sure Bledsoe's transcripts were destroyed. They'll stop at nothing to keep everything under wraps.      Way too much smoke down there to be no fire.

So Illinois only beat Georgia Southern by 9...
