We're getting picked apart. Big Ten teams will average at least 65-70 on us. 

LOL they show a graphic saying that Crean wants to maximize offensive possessions while he takes a swig of Diet Coke, then we give up another layup. Classic. 

  Is that really what he's been saying? I think his point is that Knight at least had an area he focused on, and it worked out extremely well for him. Crean is all over the place. There's no structure in anything he does, and the results speak for themselves. 

  It's set up perfectly for him to fail. An average coach could go 13-5 or better with this schedule, which means he'll probably go 12-6 or 11-7. Then he'll probably talk about what a grind the league is and how hard it is to win every night, along with any other excuses he can find. 

  I think there are only two schools he would go to, both of which are in your username. 

Bryant at #16 is hilarious. He's not even listed in either round on draft express or nbadraft.net. 

Not a surprise. Crean has always valued quantity over quality. 

The buyout isn't an issue. It never has been and never will be. Cuban is probably playing the PR game. I doubt he'll be upset when Crean gets fired.

I hate saying this, but our schedule has been very boring without the UK game. I don't want to play them while Calipari is there because I don't want to see us cave to his demands (not to mention they'd probably kill us the next couple years anyway), but at the very least we need an every-year opponent. The Crossroads Classic is small-time compared to many other non-conference events, and the Big Ten/ACC Challenge hasn't provided much intrigue lately either.      Our schedule would be a lot better if we scheduled more local teams (MAC, Horizon, etc.) and stopped playing so many teams in the 300's. 

I think Bailey7878 is another member of the coaching staff checking in on us. 

Why not take a nice 4 month vacation to get away from all the stress of coaching here?  :biggrin:

  There's a stat that keeps track of youngest teams? I bet Crean is all over that. 

53 points against ISU and overtime to beat Samford at home? Unless something changes, this team will get schooled in the Big Ten. 

  The amazing thing about Crean is that his coaching has been getting progressively worse for a few years now. It started in 2012-13 when he ran that team into the ground, then comically underachieved the following season, engineered another epic collapse last season and now has a team that can't defend or rebound. I'm not sure if it's the pressure of the job getting to him, or our impatience and displeasure causing us to be more critical, but he's on a steady decline and has been for awhile. 

  Isn't it amazing what you can do when you actually have a plan and a process to follow? As opposed to randomly tossing scholarships every which way and hoping you get enough talented kids to say yes...

  If we didn't see the team allow 12 layups did they still happen? 

  Please tell me it's someone with IU…like we need the embarrassment of him mixing it up with an IPFW player/coach.
