Fouling and timeouts in a 10 point game with under 30 seconds left…hate when teams do this. Just take the loss and move on. 

  I agree. Unfortunately, I think Purdue wins tomorrow. They have a knack for coming up with big road wins. 

  As sad as this sounds, the noon start time actually is too early for some students. When I was in college, I knew guys who were up until 4 or 5 a.m. and struggled to get out of bed by noon. I'm not an early riser myself, but I couldn't stand stuff like that. Total waste of a day to sleep that late. 

Really didn't see us getting up by 30 this time. Impressive. 

We had 9 different players score in the first half while they had only 3. Wow. 

This is about the time we dropped the hammer on Illinois. Let's do it again. 

Olah and Demps, drawing fouls on the floor and walking straight to the foul line. Morons. 

I don't know about anybody else, and it sounds weird to say this about Northwestern players, but I'm really sick of Demps and Olah. 

Out of all turnovers, stepping out of bounds is probably my biggest pet peeve. That shouldn't happen multiple times a game at this level. 

A multi-year deal to one of their assistants? Screw you, Cavs, you were supposed to get Calipari away from UK!      Cleveland gonna Cleveland. 

Meant to post this the other night…I found TeamworkOrange. He posts on Illinois Loyalty now. It appears the Illinois scout board had a similar exodus to ours and they have multiple other boards they post on now. Here's what he had to say about the game:   Anybody who knows me on the boards, knows I abhor all things IU. I didn't expect us to win tonight, but this... this, is not good. Not good at all. I'm extremely calm, and I was calm watching the game. This is unlike me as I typically yell at the tv during games. I guess I have resigned myself to the fact that we're not a very good basketball program anymore. I'm still a fan and will root for the team, but I'm no longer emotionally invested. I haven't felt this down about our program since the Deon Thomas sanctions. It's hard to believe...     "I guess I have resigned myself to the fact that we're not a very good basketball program anymore." Loved that line. 

I never thought I would hear anyone say they didn't go to a basketball game because it was too cold outside.

  He hasn't posted in over two years. Probably doing seven to ten for something or other. 

Illinois's post game thread is full of posters slamming Groce.      My, how they've changed in three years. 

  Not sure if it counts because it was non-conference, but Purdue hit 18 against Vermont back in November.      We had 18 last year against Minnesota and 17 in a couple other games dating back to Davis. Assembly Hall is a shooter's paradise. 

Three point record, 100+ points, Priller got a rebound, Niego hit a three.      That game was satisfying.        We lead the all-time series 88-86 now. We've won the last two after alternating wins and losses for the previous ten meetings. 

I want:   1) a hundred points   2) the three point record

It was a basketball play…but Nunn needs to be decked for that.
