I'm getting WAY ahead of myself here, but my biggest fear is that we'll become a program with a high floor/low ceiling, and while DeVries will win more than the last 2 coaches, his results won't be a whole lot different from Crean. We'll become a consistent tournament team that just doesn't have enough to make a serious run. Everyone will see it, but we'll be told that this is so much better than what we had before and we should be grateful to participate in March Madness again. Following this program in the 21st century is practically therapy-inducing.

What is so appealing about Maryland? Is it Under Armor? We keep hearing about how we can't get who we want because we haven't been good recently, but when is the last time Maryland was a national threat? They never seem to have trouble getting dudes.

It wasn't because he was so valuable or irreplaceable. It was that firing an assistant coach in the first week of the season is usually a sign of dysfunction within the program. Something we came to expect with a program led by Mike Woodson.

Our pitching staff is 13th in the conference in ERA. Our lineup is second in home runs, batting average, walks, on-base percentage and slugging percentage and #1 in RBI's and OPS.

Curtis not being heavily recruited here is mind-boggling to me. I can't understand how DeVries recruits him to West Virginia but isn't pursuing him now with our lack of size, or why Curtis isn't more interested given that IU and DeVries/WVU were his second and third options after ASU.

Blaming fans is a hallmark of a toxic program culture. Our program's culture has sucked for the better part of a decade and it desperately needs to change. That isn't happening with guys like Leal and Goode around.

Imagine going through Senior Night twice and still trying to get a waiver to keep playing. Won't be a popular opinion, but I hope it gets denied. Not interested in players who blame fans and can't handle criticism.
