It sure was nice of the refs to immediately stop the game after the bucket so Purdue would get a free timeout to draw something up. Really getting tired of officials micro-managing the end of games.

It pays to be Matt Painter and be adored by the media. The selection committee is made up of human beings who are biased for certain people/teams and biased against others. When Purdue was announced as the 4 in the Midwest, it almost felt like they were saying "Tough season, Purdue, but we love what you did last year, so here you go."

Houston was 30-0 when allowing fewer than 70 points. Now 31-0, but damn.

I was elated when St. Peter's and FDU beat them. Last year when Uconn beat them, I felt relieved. Now, I just feel annoyed. We only lost one more game than they did, yet they were tied in the final seconds with a #1 seed.

My bracket has Tennessee beating Houston next round. Feeling more confident in that pick after tonight.

Is the physicality of college basketball just that much higher than what it is in high school basketball? It's just weird how we never see all these plays in high school games like "hook and hold" or hear about "skirmishes" away from the ball that have to constantly be reviewed.

You know it's getting bad for UK when they take a page out of the Tom Crean playbook and try switching defenses during a live ball.

I could see Michigan in the Final Four, because that team has 9 lives this season and they just have that "it" factor. I think Florida would probably handle them there.

That era was just such a frustrating and embarrassing time in our history. We played politics with Davis and then virtue-signaled like no other to wash our hands of Sampson. I think that time period was when a lot of people stopped taking Indiana basketball seriously.

It's points per possession, not points per game. Alabama is #1 in adjusted tempo. They give up a lot of points because teams get a lot of possessions.

Not sure if anyone was up late enough to see it, but there were four reviews in the last two minutes between Arizona and Oregon. Two of them occurred just 2 seconds apart (review, inbounds pass knocked out of bounds, another review). Oregon was out of timeouts at the two-minute mark, so I'm sure they appreciated the additional four timeouts. With 8 minutes left, it was 11:35 p.m. The game officially ended at 12:17.

Replay review inside of 2 minutes needs to be revisited this offseason. This is ridiculous.
