  1. I’m all about Matta/Hackman. See avatar.
  2. The transitive property says we have now lost to the North Texas Mean Green twice this year.
  3. I am of that mind too, I think I just have PTSD from the last decade
  4. Honestly, from track records... I wouldn’t be surprised if this hire isn’t going to be anywhere close to what we’re all expecting.
  5. Got mine in. Had an all-B1G championship game but thought better of it at the last minute!
  6. Dolson is playing the long game. 1.) Hire an older coach to right the ship, because Brad Stevens isn’t quite ready to leave the NBA yet. But... 2.) In a couple years when Brad is finally run out of Boston, a hand off happens. This is all probably not true, but I like to think it is, if Brad won’t come right away.
  7. Follow Thad Matta, gonna lead us back to greatness. This is IU, U, U Not OSU, U, U
  8. Watch as my IU gear goes up in flames if that happens.
  9. Sonic Reducer ain’t no loser!
  10. I’m in the same boat. Wasn’t happy about the hire, but wanted to make the best of it. I had NO idea we’d be consistently horrible. Like, it’s honestly hard to be as bad as IU has been without actively trying to **** up.
  11. That’s it. There’s no way. None.
  12. I’m losing confidence, and rapidly. And guys, I didn’t even think about this: not only will IU not be in the tournament held in their own state...Zaga could be perfect. HOW could we possibly come back as a program after that without an immediate coaching change???
  13. I’m there, man. It sucks!
  14. Worst-case scenario: Archie comes back, a fluke finish in the B1G Top 5 next season and a win in the tourney, IU doesn’t let Archie go, then another 4 years of this. The wheels will continue to spin in neutral.
  15. Ding ding ding! This has been my feeling for awhile now, and it’s a damn shame.
  16. Exact same thought as me.
  17. Yeah I mean realistically, I don’t see them taking that into account when it comes to the decision. I was 90% certain they were going to let him go after this season, now I’m at about 50/50. If they want to call themselves a blue blood, they should act like it and do the right thing. I’m just not sure they will.
  18. I like the idea of firing him with cause and having them duke it out in court. No one is squeaky clean (although it would look terrible for an incoming coach).
  19. An honest question: Why would putting up with a lame duck coach for another year make any more sense than firing him now (and firing up the program again with a new hire)? I have hardly watched at all this year and there’s little to no chance I watch any games next year. And with AH open, how does he think there won’t be boos and jeers every night from the few fans left? Not to mention the loss in merchandising. However, us bitching aside, I know there is roughly half of the fanbase who will watch regardless of how they play, and a lot of that contingent are big sunshine pumpers, even in circumstances like these. Would Dolson count on their support and forgo what the “serious” fans want?
  20. https://iufilmroom.com/2020-21/indiana-under-archie-miller-its-time-to-move-on/ Has everyone looked at this? For a certified non-expert like myself, this broke it down concisely and in a way that was incredibly easy to read.
  21. Was just gonna say, enjoy it while it lasts.
  22. If I were a conspiracy theorist, I’d say Purdue lets Miller sneak in a win here, just enough to quiet down the firing conversation a tad so he can spin his wheels another year and we can get thwomped some more. In reality, we lose again.
  23. Almost there. Get tomorrow and whatever game in B1G out of the way and we are home free. I hope
  24. We saw those cream uniforms in the alternates under Crean. Looked like sweat-stained white.
